Le Fondre having medical at Reading...

^^ Yep it will be something like "We matched Reading's bid but couldn't compete with the wages offered" or " We matched Reading's bid but the player decided to join Reading" Fans are not stupid Doolally and SISU, we can see straight through your lies.

Coventry city set for busy deadline day in the transfer Market

He said he would be dissapointed if we didn't get at least 1 in. That doesn't really seem busy so the only other conclusion is that Clingan, Juke, Cranie etc. are being sold.

City closing in on ALF ..... apparently

    Looks like Juke to me.

    Martyn Waghorn

What a waste of money Stuart Parnaby would be, we have Keogh, Cranie, Clarke and Christie who all play RB.

    Martyn Waghorn

Would probably cost 1-1.5 million. Also I wouldn't really call him proven. In his first season at Leicester he scored 12 goals then 4 goals last season. Eastwood managed 11 championship goals in a season when he played for Southend. He is too much of a gamble for me due to his high price tag...

    350k for Le Fondre

Pretty sure this was paper speculation unless you can find a direct quote from the club stating otherwise

Rotherham Chairman - Coventry Bid Was A Joke

I bet we offered 50k or a straight swap with O'donovan/Platt.

Brody Explains Twitter absence and says Sky blues Talk may be used instead

Exactly, I bet he won't be on here for a long time if at all. He just says exactly what he thinks the fans want to hear.

    The timing of this deal...

So do you think we could see the likes of Turner, Juke, Clingan and Cranie etc. sold by the end of the window? But surely Hoffman and his group know the risks of allowing SISU to sell these players will result in most certain relegation. Can't Hoffman compensate SISU for the sale of these...

    If the bid is Successful

    Ok my bad

    Calm the F**k down

Yep telling us all Hoffman was full of rubbish just because Ken Doolally said so.
  15. SkyBlue_Bear83

    If the bid is Successful

Thorn will have targets in mind but I doubt the takeover will be completed before the end of the window IF it does happen. The best we can hope for is to strengthen with loans before strengthening again in January.

Coventry City statement on Gary Hoffman takeover offer

At least things are progressing now, lets hope for a quickish deal and not another month with no progress.
