    Lets all face it

The kids are watched everyday on training by probably Carsley and sometimes maybe Thorn. If they were considered good enough they would be in the team like Gael and Christie. I remember not long ago everyone kept saying "Give O'donovan a chance, who knows what he can do if he isn't played"...

Sometimes you have to take 1step back to go 2steps forward

Stupid thread. We will go down, sell off all our best players. Replace them with a bunch of academy kids and one or two free signings, probably finish about 10-12 first season. Then it will be a slippery slope from there on. Teams like Leicester/Southampton etc. had the finance to get back up...

    Transfer news

Parkin is an oaf, only scored over 15 goals one season out of about 11 and that was in league 2. We don't need more unfit players here at the moment. Saying that in our current situation I would take him as he is better than ROD.

    Lets all face it

We will probably do a Plymouth. Those teams you mentioned had decent finance to help them get back up.

Sam Allardyce is not the reason

Obviously Hoffman and the company aren't going to come out and say " We messed up, we overlooked a simple rule preventing the takeover from taking place." Confidentiality agreements may have been broken but I don't see how the takeover could possibly have gone through regardless of SISU's...

Sam Allardyce is not the reason

Yea according to Hoffman it was because of confidentiality agreements were broken. Even if Allardyce was not the reason the takeover still would have been stopped unless they found some loophole around that rule.

    Hoffman bid withdrawn!!!!!

You don't even have to read between the lines. Hoffman has stated that his investors have pulled out in the telegraph. Unless they have a change of heart or Hoffman finds new investment there will not be another bid.

    Hoffman bid withdrawn!!!!!

This made me laugh "For the past six months a number of people outside of the club, who profess to have the Club's interests at heart, have been trying to destabilise our recovery work. The Board and the owner want every stakeholder of the club to be clear that significant funding continues...

    Hoffman bid withdrawn!!!!!

On the bright side at least Ken Duluei keeps telling us he is currently talking to investors.:D Oh wait that was a load of bull:facepalm:
  15. SkyBlue_Bear83

    Hoffman bid withdrawn!!!!!

So it has all ended in tears by the looks of it. Seems as if both sides have acted unprofessionally in this whole deal. It was obvious Ken Duluei and the board were trying to scupper any deal, but also it is just downright stupid from Hoffman. I don't see any chance this deal could be...

    Hoffman bid withdrawn!!!!!

I couldn't dream this stuff up. This was our only chance to give us a fighting chance of survival. Can't believe Hoffman overlooked this if it was true, what an idiot if the reports are true.

big news in the telegraph tomorrow?

Anyway if it was really "Big news" I would have thought Linnell might have known what they were referring to. Obviously just trying to sell the paper.
