    Wasps pull out...

It was mooted a long time ago that SISU's court actions may be funded by 3rd parties with an interest in setting precedents when it comes to State Aid. Any chance this could still be the case?

    Wasps pull out...

Exactly, this has been the case from day 1. Wasps also have said they are quite confident the case has no merit and have had legal advice to that effect. The complaint to the EC does not land them in court necessarily. Looking at the complaint form I posted (State aid online complaint form –...

    The Ricoh..

Let's remember when people talk about SISU "should have bought the stadium when they had chance" and "should have negotiated a better deal", they ignore who the chairman was at that point

    Wasps pull out...

If it was a case worth proceeding then Wasps should be looking at the council should they not?

    Playoffs

Do they? Mount, Lawrence, Marriott and Holmes are theirs. That said they spent a few million on a couple of them

Good game Leeds Derby, glad Derby won as the commentary team were creaming themselves over Leeds and Bielsa. I thought Derby played some nice stuff, they've got some really good young players and I'd have Keogh in my side every day of the week.

Government orders congestion charge on Coventry roads

I don't have a problem with the concept of congestion charges if they fully fund a not for profit regulated public transport service.

    Wasps pull out...

It amazes me how supine the fighters on the JHW, Trust et al are. What other football club fans would even begin to empathise with the positions Wasps take after what's happened? It is mental.

State aid online complaint form – European Commission This is the claim form assuming this is what they've used. Some information here about timescales. Wasps are playing dumb if they are claiming they didn't know about it..... EUR-Lex - 52018XC0719(01) - EN - EUR-Lex

    The Ricoh..

I don't know if it is Wasps, the complaint to the EU ostensibly concerns the state and its authorities, i.e. the council.

    The Ricoh..

Au contraire, they're interested because the application of state aid rules is of pan-European interest not just UK.

    The Ricoh..

The analogy with reporting to the police is slightly out, it's more like reporting somebody to a regulator. The police implies it is a crime.
