The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

It was a loan from the EIB not state aid. Still unfortunate for Southampton and yes you could justifiably say it was an own goal for the EU and more specifically the U.K. but let’s call it what it was and not pretend it was something else.

Bridgend makes Ford, JLR and Volvo engines. You say Ford are going to stop making cars. That’s not what they’ve said. They’ve said that they’ll drop certain models and possibly enter a joint venture (VW being mooted) in Europe, they’ll still be making cars with Ford engines in, just might not be...

Brexit 'may create united Ireland majority' Can’t say I’m surprised. Been pointing out for a while that even amongst my own Protestant family being able to travel to work everyday in the south and then bringing their wages home unaffected is more important to them than the north remaining part...

Wasn’t Ford planning on expanding Bridgend? Until brexit happened of course. Ford to invest £181m in Bridgend plant to build new fuel efficient engines

Based on what? In the article linked already it states that the U.K. is responsible for over half it’s European losses. Where are you getting the U.K. being “Fords most profitable place” from? All their most recent comments suggest the opposite.

I’ll try again. Where has Ford said that they’re considering cutting jobs in Europe (other than the U.K.) because of Brexit. It doesn’t say it in the articles that didn’t take you long to find. They’re just the same story in different outlets that SB linked, which you did your best to discredit...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

So where has Ford said that they’re cutting jobs in Europe (other than the U.K.) because of Brexit? I can see where they say they’re looking at cutting jobs because they’re considering dropping the Mondeo (story just broke in the last 24 hours) due to changing tastes. Can’t se them blaming...

Is that what they’ve said? In the article I read they said that a huge proportion of the losses they made in 2017 was because of the drop of the pound and they’ve done a U turn on what they’ve previously said about Brexit and being positive about a frictionless trade and know expect anything but...

Muay Thai is brilliant, did it a bit as it crossed over into kick boxing a lot in the 90’s. Most kick boxing clubs back then did Thai and their was always some Thai fights on at kick boxing tournaments. Not sure if that’s still the case. Did bog standard karate as a kid which I always found more...

What proof to Panasonic have would be a more apt question. They clearly feel that they have enough. Who gave them a heads up and why? Also don’t ever recall saying that London was worse than Luxembourg for tax dodging. May have said it about British overseas territory though.

How can stating exactly how Theresa May won the Tory leadership be defending anything? She was handed it when there was no challengers. It’s as simple as that, you really can’t contrive that to be anything else.

I wonder how many of British MP’s families are voted into the job said MP employs them “to do”? Or how many of those positions are advertised giving anyone the opportunity to take them jobs? I wonder who voted in Trumps family who now all seem to make up the US government? Or how many of those...

I didn’t defend Junker. You on the other hand don’t seem to be able to talk about the possibility of Britain becoming a tax haven while not being able to shut up about Luxembourg becoming one under Junker. You’re opening comment of “and another one just making comments towards one side” looks...

I thought you would be more concerned about us becoming a tax haven. I know it boils your piss that Junker turned Luxembourg into one so assumed such a man of principle would feel the same about the U.K. doing the same.
