And then we meet again, 30 years later, when I’m sat in the West Ham end watching Cov. A beautiful story.
You can be in it too. In the West Ham end as well, blowing bubbles! You can be played by you, Bubbles can be played by Ray Winstone.
Well, I’ve got to say that’s a refreshingly lovely story. Fair play to Fulham.
Hope the knee replacement has been ok. My parents had theirs done recently…only a few months apart from each other. The old man, who had his done first has just started go back up to watch Pompey play. I’m hoping...
Coincidentally it was a game vs West Ham at HR I was thinking about. I think we lost 1-3, we scored first. They had hartson and kitson.
It wasnt until West Ham scored that we realised that we were completely surrounded by West Ham fans. They did not sit on their hands!
This game was made...
I’ve gone in the ‘wrong’ end a few times over the years…Why did the stewards move you? Where did they move you to?
I think back to our top flight days and big clubs coming to visit, it felt like half our end was filled with opposing fans.
To that squad I reckon you can add Eccles, whom would definitely feature more, and prospects such as Tavares, Howley etc that will develop.
I think you’re right. 4 quality signings, and retain our top players, would be very interesting next season.
It won’t be Joe Ralls, as some are suggesting, he’s being offered a new contract by cardiff.
Marlon Pack, as someone has also suggested, is utter shite.
Yes! That expectation is incredible…and often met with hostility if you’re less than jovial as their dog sniffs around you/your family, eats your socks etc.
What are you talking about? Nobody is saying get rid of these people and replace them with Labour/Starmer. They are the incumbent government. If you don’t want Labour to get in don’t vote for them at the next election…that’s why we have elections.
This nothing to do with party politics...
One things for sure, he’ll never resign. If there are more fines I’m assuming there’ll be more pressure but I fear it’ll come down to elections only. If they think he can lead them to more victories they may just let him stay.
It’s terrible isn’t it really. I think we all know that. I’ve not bothered to read most of this thread but if there’s anyone defending Johnson/Sunak et al they’re on the wind-up.
Their behaviour transcends party politics.
Got to agree with most on here, it’s big Vik for me.
Seems to pretty much have it all - could maybe improve his goal contribution - but his strength is incredible. He must be a nightmare to play against. I think testament to this is the amount of success he has in cutting back inside. The...
I seem to remember some pretty grim chants aimed towards Gary Linekar when his son was ill.
I wasn’t at the game but the old man reckons that Newcastle fans at HR were especially awful/racist. He said it sounded like they were all at it.
You might well be right but I thought James was integral to the performances.
He’s certainly not done much at Bristol.
That French bloke they’ve got in midfield looked great when we played them…albeit he may have messed up for Vik’s goal at the end.
I think he grew in stature towards the end of the season. He had some class about him and I thought he looked an upgrade on Kelly.
Has he not been injured a lot again?
Is that a fair comparison? Strikers tend to do a lot more twisting and turning…and running around generally. Therefore I’d say they’re bound to pick up more injuries?
Unless of course we turn him into the next Tyler Walker, then he’d be fine!
(I quite like Tyler Walker)
