    I'd say playing in the dutch top flight is a step up from League One or even the Championship. It hasn't worked out that badly and he's only very young still.

    [ They'd more than stabilised, they had been promoted back to League 1 and by 2011 their losses were reducing. Certainly not the basket case that either Bolton or Bury is.

    He took over in 2011 by which time they were in recovery and on an upward trajectory. The massive points deduction (27 over two seasons) was in 2008.

    They weren't taken over in such a chronic position though. Bolton and Bury have no players, are pretty much guaranteed to be relegated and it doesn't look like revenue has much chance of improving.

    Also assumes that the attendees at each game without season tickets is the exact same every game, i.e. the actual number of different fans who have attended St Andrews is probably higher than the average home gate.

    I've chosen Option 4. I don't think the club would survive any more than two seasons in Birmingham at a push.
