The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

So it's 5 weeks from 9th September (presumably some of this is the traditional party conference season)

    Bury gone

The group that owns Chelsea owes £1.2bn repayable at 18 months notice.

    Bury gone

....and also got into the habit of watching football on TV over attending matches to some extent, it's easy to make the 'choice' if you live in Bury (and all the other boroughs of GM) to support one of the two Manchester clubs, you'll see them play quite a lot without ever having to attend

SISU, St Andrews, Bury and Bolton

I understand and sort of empathise, but, this does give rise to the idea that a club's owners can effectively hold a club hostage.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Why on earth are we still talking about 'negotation' with the EU - it isn't happening. It's a fallacy.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

MPs represent all of their constituents, not just those who vote a certain way. I voted Leave but the idea of proroguing parliament to force through a no deal, the consequences of which could be devastating for some people is anti-democratic in the extreme. It is not how our democracy functions...

Backbone is being unwilling to debate no deal in a sovereign parliament

    Picking the Carcass of Bury

Not sure it's dog eat dog any more than it's a player who has been effectively unemployed and unpaid for 6 months finding employment elsewhere.

Fair enough, it sounded pretty emphatic though

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Nonsense - if the government doesn't want legislation that rules out no deal then it needs to use parliament to rule it out, not stop it being debated whatsoever

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

The most anti-democratic act of a lifetime, utterly disgusting.

Transfer Rumour What is it with shooting?

It's probably individual player confidence over explicit instruction

The Premier League is part of the big picture and has played its own role.

Match Thread Watford vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Tuesday 27th Aug

SHFWF When? They battered us more than once in the Championship. Christ we even lost there in the Premier League when they finished bottom. We've not fallen the far the reality is that the disproportionate economic gap means that they can hold a squad with £25m players in the second string

    Bury gone

Real shame for Bury. Football governance isn't good enough, it's not the EFL's fault as such though imo. You can't look beyond Dale and the c**t before him.

Favourite football ground that no longer exists (excluding HR)

I thought Saint Mary's was actually ok location wise, pubs nearby and walkable from the city centre. That said, never went to the Dell to compare.
