Match Thread Coventry City vs. Blackpool Match Thread - Saturday 7th Sep

This system isn't working, the full backs don't get far forward enough. The two wider forwards leave the striker completely isolated

Walsh giving it away and there you go. This is poor, we don't look like scoring and so slow. Every player wants too many touches

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

The UK is a low wage economy reliant on credit. Household debt of 86% to GDP compared with 52% or 58% in Germany and France.

Funny really, your former employer would have disappeared completely in the 70s if it wasn't for state intervention (not that the nationalised company was any good). Again after the last recession it got a massive loan from the EIB underwritten by the UK government.

I'm a traditional labour court voter. None of his policies are anything like communism. They are pretty standard social democrat policies of the sort you find all over Europe

    How much do we lose

    I reckon about £3m

What do you think trade deals are and who do you think agrees them? I felt a bit like you 3 years back but it is naive in the extreme.

Cool story. You do realise I voted leave don't you?

Once again, leave on the basis of a deal and no detriment. It'll be interesting to see how they feel if no deal materialises and the impact of it.

I voted leave. It isn't a cliché, people expose their reasoning every day in the social media age. Nobody voted for no deal and no campaign even countenanced the idea.

The armed forces have been decimated over the last 9 years. Open your fucking eyes

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

It isn't arrogance to state that it was a non issue, I can only speak for people I know and extrapolate that across the population. If it was such an issue UKIP would have had more than one MP win an election. They didn't, Farage didn't. They've had one MP elected and even he fucked off to go...

The country isn't going to come out of it in good shape either way, it's an international laughing stock and no foreign government will trust the Tories on the word. No deal and we're out in the wilderness begging to sell off the remainder of the UK to America

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

What's weird about the referendum is that if you were to ask all the faux outraged people now why they voted to leave the EU they'd have forgotten. It is and always has been a non issue in comparison with some of the other decisions made by the Tories since 2010.

    Things that annoy you

Agreed. I blame the apprentice for quite a lot of stuff. The American one is even worse impact wise
