Getting us back to the Ricoh remains simple

For CCFC to return to Ricoh the offer would have to have 2 key terms. Sensible rent value Access to revenue streams. The lease/ownership part can be done later. Perhaps if ACL actually said properly what the rent would be and what revenue streams the club could access, so it is clear...

    FA and the escrow account?

So next time you wheel out the 'AVRO charging £1.8m interest pa' - just remember SISU/AVRO aren't making a profit... it's just interest.

    Ccfc impartial review

It's not that surprising is it...? The official council mouthpiece (CET) did something very similar. Just more propaganda from both sides.

    Judicial Review thread

Not sure if this has been covered already in 75 odd pages, but when the idea of YB lending ACL £15.5m came out, were there caveat's in regard to this? Or certain criteria that would have to be in place for the lending to take place?

    Judicial Review thread

@TheSimonGilbert: it has emerged that Yorkshire bank would have agreed to loan ACL £15.5m on the basis of restructuring the loan. Er what?

    sisu: it's Game On!

Personally the idea of 'fixing' football is a reasonable notion, but I don't think that when it comes down to it people would be prepared to accept everything that goes with it. Our situation aside, Cardiff and Hull are happy for their owners to spend multi million amounts in order to be...

    sisu: it's Game On!

So because I didn't sign a petition that didn't break 20k I don't care about those things? Sorry but it has made fuck all difference. 160,000 signed a petition to not pick Tom Cleverly in the WC squad in 2 days. That's how much of an impact it didn't make.

    sisu: it's Game On!

It's not really though is it. It's a half baked attempt to complain about our situation and also general governance in football.

    sisu: it's Game On!

Does it?? Both sides in this dispute have signed the petition, so my lack of signing it is not related to any particular viewpoint. Football generally does need a huge overall. But personally I find it hypocritical me paying for my Sky Sports subscription knowing that (indirectly) it is...

    I didn't sign it.

    AFC Wimbledon - Plough Lane

Very true. It's interesting in both cases that the local council was involved in disputes with the club.

    AFC Wimbledon - Plough Lane

I'm not sure you can make a direct comparison between the two scenarios. We are not a franchise club, nor is a move to Northampton permanent.

One for Rob S and the Trust?

First part of the KCIC statement in the OP: which was exactly what Haskell suggested. I don't like the idea of fan ownership, because all it does it create a new hierarchy system within the supporters. And who goes to the top...either those with the most money, or biggest mouth. Not those...

One for Rob S and the Trust?

Ask how it worked out for Rushden and Diamonds? Or maybe how Ebbsfleet had to be re-bought by someone to save it from it's failed fan ownership scheme?

One for Rob S and the Trust?

Yes and...? Haskell obviously raised the idea and they all dived in on it. Personally, don't ever think fan ownership will ever work - at any club. Fans can't agree on the most trivial of things.. how could we collectively help run a football club.

One for Rob S and the Trust?

When Haskell first came along the Trust couldn't wait to be all over him like a rash. The promise of having this fans stake in the club firmly entrenched the trust and KCIC in the 'anyone but SISU' camp. No thought about how a new owner would take things forward... Just interested in having that...

Also - I never said that I talk to SISU... If I did I would be asking very similar questions to what you have said.

    Football League deadline update

Yes I agree that there was a lot of confusion about what was where during the process, but ultimately nothing illegal happened did it? Where players contracts were should be of no concern to ACL, they should have been interested in recouping the money that was owed to them. The FL went round...

    Football League deadline update

Here is another statement from ACL on rejecting CVA “ACL, jointly owned by the Alan Edward Higgs Charity and Coventry City Council, voted not to approve the Administrator’s proposals. “This decision was based on ACL’s twin aims: first, to keep Coventry City Football Club playing in Coventry...
