    ROD Next out the door?

We would be better off playing Jeffers or another youth player imo.

possibly 11 new signings now if bigi goes

Even then it is stretching it to call Dunn, Hussey and ROD senior pros.

    ROD Next out the door?

I doubt ROD will want to go there after Aidy froze him out here, we can still hope though.

    Richard Keogh

I remember us getting battered for 90 minutes by Leicester and Doncaster at home and coming out with 4 points, I remember us getting a dubious penalty away to Watford to equalise. I remember Sheff Utd hitting the woodwork 3/4 times and us winning 1-0, I remember Middelsbrough hitting the...

    Platt wants to win games

It is all down to squad depth, I would say our first 11 would have a good crack at getting promoted. However rarely a team gets to field there first 11 maybe less than 10 times a season. As soon as we have 2/3 players are injured/suspened we will be looking at academy players.

    more news from waggot :O(

Sounds as if he is just trying to guilt trip people into buying season tickets

    Richard Keogh

Yea I remember this, it was just the owners being tight fisted gits not wanting to pay him the improved contract for an extra year, always left it to the last second to save that extra pound.

    Richard Keogh

No it hasn't got better under Thorn but lets not kid ourselves about how it was under Boothroyd. Most of the games in the first half of the season I remember us getting extremely lucky in a lot of the games, it was always going to go tits up for us under Boothroyd once our luck ran out.

How would it have been different though? We would still have injuries and transfer embargo and suspensions throughout the season which you have said is the reason we tailed off, unless of course you are just using that as an excuse for Boothroyds terrible run that followed.

The club was going downhill before Boothroyd left, it is no surprise he is next job was a league 2 club. When Boothroyd left didn't Ranson say the players were no longer responding to his style of play, wasn't it rumoured some of the senior players at the time had gone to the board and...

    Cameron

I also worry when the ball is at his feet, if we are looking for a stopper though Cameron would be great. The size and strength of the lad is incredible for a player so young, put in some great performances when he played last season. Was looking immense vs Palace and Birmingham I think it was...

City confirm official bids for Keogh & Captancy if he stays

Yea I agree, if the contract discussions come to nothing though it would make sense to sell him and replace him now with money received rather than lose him in 12 months time and have to replace him with no money received. .

City confirm official bids for Keogh & Captancy if he stays

If he isn't going to sign a new contract are we not best to get some money for him? Mcpake, Wood, Cameron + another would still be a good choice.

    Richard Keogh

Boothroyd dropped him because he wouldn't sign a contract, Westwood accused the club of trying to bully him to sign a new contract or something or other. Basically Aidy was an arse and none of the players apart from King and Platt liked him.

Quote from Waggot on the back page of that paper saying contract discussions are ongoing with Keogh, he'll be gone by Friday then

WAGGOTT: We are ready to act...

I'm probably wrong but I thought the dispute/negotiations over the rent was the reason the accounts couldn't be filed, haven't we withheld 2 months rent?

Exactly what I thought, I assumed he was passing on a genuine rumour he had heard but didn't believe himself.

He lost confidence playing consistently in a losing side, is still a great talent.
