    Wasps: Good For The City?

The fact is that there are very few people that can have an influence on a football team directly with their actions. The fact is that these two, along with SISU, Hoffman, Elliott, McGinnity, Richardson and every other cronie around on their respective watches have failed the club.

    Wasps: Good For The City?

Had they been offered at the same price that Wasps got them for I imagine they would have bought them a long time ago.

    Rent or own stadium?

You would think a modular system refers to stands so they can upgraded/developed if needed. As for space... Plenty of people will take just about any space they can get - depends on price. Can't imagine a plan would not include it, though impossible to tell from the pictures you would say...

    Rent or own stadium?

It would depend on size and how it is pitched. We definitely saw stories about how ACL had made hiring the pitch out of most people's reach financially. Plenty of people make money out of conference space - depends on suitability vs price.

Meet Wasps Tonight And Ask Your Questions

How long will it be until they reveal that the financial backers of Wasps are a little know hedge fund from the Cayman Islands ;) Also - when they do this... how far are they planning on stand back from the fall out?

So who's going to be our new manager then?

If he went I want to see Eric Black. If nothing else I need closure.

    Bigirimana And O'Grady Linked

I think it's more that they show potential. The big clubs harvest them and then they stop making progress. The failing is more on the clubs like Newcastle and Tottenham who seem to do this an awful lot. How many times will these footballers with potential go for the money and their careers end...

    Bigirimana And O'Grady Linked

He hasn't produced much evidence to disprove you currently. I'm still amazed we managed to get £1m for him - SISU played a blinder there. Would he be good now.... not sure - but would he be any worse than Thomas?

    CCC advertising CCFC

I think the dog might be dead.. not just now but in the picture.

Again 365 days revenue blah blah

CCFC needed a home... shame that they never got to buy one at the same price that Wasps got it for. You can thank your friends at the council for that.

Again 365 days revenue blah blah

Don't think Fisher ever said the 365 revenues were worth nothing. He may well have said that due to ACL tieing everything up to Compass makes it worth considerably less to another buyer. What exactly did Compass pay for those F&B rights? The deal was in excess of £100m wasn't it? Not bad for...

Again 365 days revenue blah blah

If having the stadium and access to 365 revenues were so insignificant, can someone explain why a certain Mr Gidney said that these were worth in excess of £20m for someone to buy??

Wasps best interests at heart... not CCFC's.

Coventry City FC giant crests may be moved at Ricoh as Wasps make mark on stadium

Ask the council and the previous owners. They agreed to it.

Coventry City FC giant crests may be moved at Ricoh as Wasps make mark on stadium

We were signed up to the 'Radio Rentals' deal of all time. Pay £65m over the term of the lease and at the end you get fuck all for it.

    Leon Clarke

Well he did when he played for us.... I'm starting to believe that he was sounded out for that move to Wolves because they genuinely saw us as a threat to their promotion at the time. It was a ploy to derail us. They didn't need him, and barely played him when he went there...

    Leon Clarke

Pressley needs to swallow his pride on this one and take him on if he is available. Surely a 'good' manager will be able to see beyond the past - and if Clarke is apologetic for his actions and wants to come then we can only benefit.
