    you might be surprised

No excuse for consistently failing to get shots on target in a game. Even shit players will create chances.. they just won't finish them.

Karl Oyston Step Down - A Petition

Funny how people never give a shit when they are ploughing money in. Maybe he should ask for his money back and then leave quietly.

    Would You Still Go ?

So in essence CCFC had the full responsibility to service the loan, but not a single benefit from it in additional revenue. How ACL chose to service the debt was not the clubs responsibility, yet it was screwed over regardless.

    Would You Still Go ?

So as you put it...the council do not need to justify anything they do. So suggesting that setting an astronomical rent for CCFC was in the taxpayers interest is wrong.

    Would You Still Go ?

What utter bollocks... they haven't justified anything historically, so I can't see why they needed to get on their high horse about this. The investment in terms of taxpayers was minimal at best.. and they have thrown money left, right and centre at allsorts (Coombe Abbey just recently) whilst...

    Would You Still Go ?

But you seem to forget that the path we were put on falls under the previous owners and the council's culpability. Of course SISU have made it far worse, but they were given a shit situation in the first place. CCC and ACL's failings get forgotten time and again.

    Would You Still Go ?

But your opening sentence illustrates what grates people (not you personally) but the fact is that the Wasps deal doesn't seem to bother you. Or that you think SISU got what they deserved. No thought to how hypocritical CCC have been in this, or the detrimental position as a result for CCFC.

    Would You Still Go ?

Of course SISU hold the majority of the blame. But whether you like them or not they are still in some way providing so that the club can operate from day to day. How much they are really putting in versus what they should be if they want a return.. well that's another debate. Throughout all of...

    Would You Still Go ?

Looking back now...it's entirely possible they got wind of the Wasps deal. I would say that fan pressure contributed aswell.. but not NOPM.

    Would You Still Go ?

It makes me laugh people suggesting that my ticket money will go directly to SISU's lawyers. Next you'll be telling me that if I buy a Big Mac that I'm responsible for funding terrorism. NOPM was not the reason we came back from Sixfields. NOPM is an analogy for not giving a fuck anymore. I...

    Doncaster Match Thread

Not neccesarily.. but a team shouldn't be producing 0 shots on target in 90 minutes. And it keeps happening consistently.

Were SISU offered the same deal as Wasps, Yes or No?

Didn't they actually meet and have a discussion? Don't think it was very productive but they did talk.

    Million dollar question

19th December Alan Edward Higgs Charity acquires 50% of ACL from CCFC ltd. Shares owned by Football Investors Limited, which becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of the Charity. Cost to Charity £6,523,184 inc. fees. Payment made £2m cash £2.5m waiver of loan and £2m to two directors who had...

    Million dollar question

Our deal at the Ricoh was like buying a TV off of Radio Rentals, where you pay substantially over the odds for something. But at the same time worse.. because essentially we would never own said TV, and could only watch it on selected days, and had no input into what we would see. To complete...

Were SISU offered the same deal as Wasps, Yes or No?

Not interested in the Ricoh - Gospel Building a new stadium - Bullshit

Were SISU offered the same deal as Wasps, Yes or No?

Errrr....? I think you'll find every single offer is conditional in some way. Conditional in terms of what you are prepared to pay. It seems in the end what Wasps were prepared to pay for the whole package was less than what SISU were.

    Where it all went wrong

Number 8 all day long. I read something not too long after about all the players Black had supposedly lined up which McGinnity had never heard of (Simonsen was one of them) - all went on to have good careers at Champ/PL level.

    Christmas truce?

Pressure should be applied on SISU until they produce concrete evidence in regards to a new stadium. This should be the focus IMO. If they do produce this - then they have to be supported by the Trust from that point on. I can't see any other sensible way out of this mess.

    New David Conn article

Maybe they are referring to the inner sanctum.... you know, the important ones.

    Christmas truce?

Getting the club in a position where it makes as much as it spends.. so self sufficient as a minimum Getting the club a stadium of it's own Anything else I'm afraid pales into insignificance.
