I am hoping league 1 football will give Gael, Thomas, Clarke, Cameron etc. a real opportunity to kick start their career. At times they were managing to hold their own vs championship teams so hopefully they will be able to develop their game even further by playing against lower quality opposition.

I agree, this is the lowest quality of football he will have played at depending on where you rank scottish football. If he can chip in with 10-12 goals it will be a good contribution if Mcdonald does the business for us.

If Keogh goes I think we need centre half x2, I wouldn't feel comfortable going into the season with only 2 senior CB. 3 will be ok with Cameron and Willis as back up

Don't mean to be rude but cheers for stating the obvious. He isn't half as bad as some are making out and I was posting stats which back that up 17 goals conceded in 17 league games isn't bad at all as a whole defensive unit which Mcpake was part of. Injuries an unfitness have held him back...
