He isn't playing in a conventional central midfielder role though is he though. He is playing like a tucked in wide player or a central midfield player slightly wide which ever way you want to describe it. He has to help his full back out defensively and offensively like a wide player would do...

Yea but we had a shit squad last year in comparison with the rest of the division, this year we do not.

These were a team who finished 7th in league 2 last season and arguably weakened their squad with the loss of their captain yesterday and talisman in Nick Powell over the summer. We have 3 or 4 times the budget of Crewe and are not making it show on the pitch.
