How did the new boys look tonight ?

I thought his tackling was poor, lunging in off balance and I don't think he did anything out of the ordinary on the ball. He didn't play any passes that I wouldn't expect any competent player to make

Coventry v Sheffield UTD matchday thread.

Yea I remember it, was one of the better Boothroyd games actually. Hit the wood work about 3 or 4 times as well. The same season we played them away they battered us that day and we came away with a 1-0 win

    Parking at the Ricoh?

Does anyone know if it being enforced tonight as some posts earlier in the week suggested it wouldn't be?

No not as you are describing, we had our home fixture rearranged and played the away fixture instead at that time. We didn't just play our home fixture away and take all the incomings from that fixture for our own from the other club

    Your expectations for tonight?

I agree, there is always more to be gained by going for the win than there is to lose However although I would be disappointed with a draw it wouldn't be the end of the world

    Doyle reception

Applause, maybe not the best footballer but gave us 7 or 8 years of service which is rare now days

    Coventry away support

Rubbish midfield since relegation from Premiership

You won't get much sense out of Grenduffy I am afraid, I suspect he read your defence of Clingan in the other thread and only initially bought him into the discussion to wind you up

Neil Wood Now there was a player who had the world at his feet

Could Coventry be shut out of Ricoh?

I'm not arguing that from a moral, unbiased view ACL shouldn't back down However as a fan of Coventry City any deal that can be struck to lower the rent and means we don't have to sell players to cover it, I am all for it and am not fussed about the morality of how it is done.
