The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

So basically the 3 remain parties combined are polling 33%, the 2 Hard Brexit parties are polling 29%. You have to discount Labour because no one knows what they really want and are split. You have to discount the Conservatives because they are also split and don’t have a clue how to get us out...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Did he say A) “According to every General Election result in history, it is.” Or B) According to the 2005 results if you apply a huge slice of supposition, it is. It’s A isn’t it?

World traveled I’m afraid. Clearly another Grendull fact.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

No he didn’t. He said and I quote in full “According to every General Election result in history, it is.” end statement. That simply isn’t reality The reality is actually not one general election has ever been won with that low a percentage of the votes. You suppose 2005 would have been but...

    The Ricoh..

It’s (as in the case) to do with European law specifically state aid. You take your case to the commission as upholding European law is their jurisdiction and if they think there’s a case it then goes to the ECJ. Pretty sure I tried telling you that years ago but you took the piss instead...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I’ve quoted and linked those facts. Where’s your facts? All you’ve given is supposition, constantly moving goalposts when the facts don’t fit and insults when I won’t accept the Grendull facts at face value. Why don’t you back your argument up with some facts? Let’s hear your facts if you’re so...

Oh dear. Facts can be an inconvenience. If you have to make a point on Grendull facts then you’re not really making a point, you’re writing fantasy.

You didn’t suggest anything, you made a statement. That statement being “According to every General Election result in history, it is.”

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

2005 is the exception not the rule. Dutchman said “According to every General Election result in history, it is.” not just the 2005 result in isolation. 1983. Conservatives 42.4% year of the votes, Labour 27.6% of the votes and Alliance 25.4% of the votes. 1987. Conservatives 42.4% of the...

No you said and again I quote you in full “According to every General Election result in history, it is.” Just put your hands up and admit you were wrong. No shame in that. Especially compared to the charade you’re playing out now.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

1970 Labour lost with 43.1% of the votes. 1974 Conservatives lost with 37.9% of the votes (also the largest share). 1974 Conservatives lost with 35.8% of votes. 1979 Labour lost with 36.9% of votes. 1992 Labour lost with 34.4% of votes. 2017 Labour lose with 40% of the votes. It’s not point...

Again again. That’s not what you said. You said “According to every General Election result in history, it is.” it wouldn’t have won him any of the last 13 for starters.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

There’s not a single election from 1970 until now (13 GE’s in total) where 34% would have won you an election. The nearest would have been 2005 but he still would have needed at least another 1.2% and for his vote not to be concentrated to avoid a situation like 1974 where the Tories had the...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

That’s your point now, it isn’t what you said initially. You’re changing your tune which is fine but don’t pretend that you didn’t say what you clearly said. Again “According to every General Election result in history, it is.”

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

You said and I quote you in full “According to every General Election result in history, it is.” in response to me saying that 29-34% isn’t a majority. It’s pretty clear what you said.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I never said they would. I’m disputing that 29-34% of votes would have won you a majority in every election in history. As per Dutchman’s claim. Two examples being 2010 & 17, something you confirmed yourself when you corrected one of my figures. When you look at the link I’ve just posted of...

Again. That’s not what you said. You claimed what the brexit Party is polling at would have won them every election in history. Clearly not the case. UK Election Statistics: 1918-2018 - 100 years of elections - Commons Library briefing - UK Parliament

You said every election in history. That clearly isn’t the case.
