Yes you are right - should have been resolved way before the current administration. So why was last year's motion blocked knowing that it was a failing of the previous government??

We are mourning an entirely avoidable tragedy.

312 Tory MP's blocked a motion to make rented accommodation habitable for humans.... not a single one from Lab, LD or SNP....

The majority of the 're-furb' was for aesthetic purposes. One of the things the fire service said is they couldn't get water above a certain level.... so why the fuck weren't there sprinklers?

    General Election

The current voting system is flawed - I think looking at the 2015 results illustrate it. Take the UKIP example... nearly 4m votes for 1 MP, and then the SNP had 56 MP's with only just over a third of that number. That said the likelihood of moving to PR would mean hung parliament far more...

I'm not necessarily disagreeing you... the EU is clearly something Merkel wants to protect - and we have to make sure we are aware of it when we go into negotiations. She may well want to 'punish' us - but I worry that people like Johnson and Davis seem oblivious.. and we have a 'coalition of...

    General Election

So surely May and her idiots like Johnson coming out and basically giving the EU the 2 fingered salute before the election was announced was not a particularly astute move either..... didn't exactly scream the message of looking to do a deal for the interests of everyone did it?

Now is quite rightly the time to offer support to those affected but at some point there are people that need to go to prison (if these things...

    General Election

It's not like they have their own assembly to run is it... after all it's been collapsed for months. Do you really think jumping into bed with the incumbent government is going to help get that assembly back up and running?

I think using the word desperate is clutching at straws to be honest.

The fundamental difference between Corbyn and May is that he would listen to your concerns.... she would simply tell you it's your problem and she is right.

If they really had any sense they would create a cross-party working group to negotiate. Kier Starmer would be ideal to lead it. Sadly this sensible idea will never happens down to ego's.

    How shit is this?

I tested it with a cable and even then it was no better. An hour of shouting at Sky and they have sent a replacement router (even though I said the one I have from them is less than a year old)

I do agree - the longer she stays in power with the vile DUP the more she will drive away the parties supporters.
