    Your own new political party

You've taken my quote massively out of context here... my comment on funding is still pertinent but not massively linked to the quality of a teacher, however there are some that could improve and become better if given the tools to do so. That said I generally agree with your other points. I...

I have found that parents of non-English speaking students are generally more engaged with school, especially once the language barrier has been broken down. What sometimes gets overlooked is that some of these kids are fluent in 3/4 languages - something it would be nice for our children to be...

    new season prediction

This is the last leg in my 'Acca of Apocalypse. Brexit, Trump, Leicester, Checkatrade Trophy and then this. Then I'm gonna buy the club for myself and then formally move the entire City of Coventry away from Wasps. That'll teach them

We are very lucky in our school, we have a provision where students that come to us with no English effectively have all their lessons in there until they are able to access enough of the language to go into main lessons. Quite often these are the kids that go on and thrive and do really well in...

This is the thing - we actually want to teach those in front of us... we don't want to be glorified child care. The standard of teaching can be just as good in state sector - if allowed to actually do so. Privilege and opportunity... well that's another thing entirely.

I can honestly tell you that these things are not tolerated by teachers... they are at times best managed. Now consider the factors that have had an impact on the quality of school provision. Reduction in school funding pretty much year in, year out. And before anyone rolls out the 'spending'...

Well perhaps if state education was properly funded then maybe it would perform better.... That or get some private schools to take poor kids into their roll for free. Show the state schools how to do it.... On a separate note there is virtually no governmental scrutiny of private education...

Put ministers in positions where they had legitimate experience (health, education, defence). No government contracts for companies that aren't based in the UK for tax purposes. No selling of weapons to countries full stop. An immediate halt on refurbishment to Houses of Parliament, Buckingham...

Food banks are a failure of our 'modern' society. There are far more people hiding their money offshore so they don't pay the tax they should do....

    Court hearing

It was something that was mentioned... also as a possible 'reason' why SISU didn't drop the first one once it was clear that a result in their favour wasn't going to happen.

    General Election

Let's be honest - QT is only coming to Coventry because CCC invited them to to 'City of Politics' - plus Wasps gave me a free ticket

    General Election

The primary reason Le Pen got as close as she did to the presidency is that the left essentially split their vote between Melenchon and Hamon. If they had united for a common cause she would have never made it to the second round.

I think I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss the views of the people that had to live in that environment day in day out.

Not convinced?? How about selling weapons to countries that use them to kill innocents... Your denial is the thing that is most disappointing.
