Big blow for us - think the play offs may be out of reach now. Hey ho - always fun being a Cov fan. It's actually quite refreshing to be frustrated about stuff on the pitch for a change (grasping at straws)

    Northampton sky blues

The "people of Northampton want this" bit is utter nonsense. Some Cobblers fans are concerned though and you never know I suppose, as there are finanfial opportunities to be had with development and regeneration in the town.

Your stories of meeting players (that no one else is interested in hearing).

On the ale with Magnus Hedman a few times as he drank in my local in Northampton (which was run by a Cov fan). My mate danced with him to Toploader at Auntie Ruth's nightclub when they were both smashed, a sight that will never leave me. He used to give us his ticket allocation and get us into...

    Exhall Residents Dont Want It

Ironic indeed. Wouldn't catch me doing that :thinking about: Anyway, the residents have nothing to worry about regarding a new stadium.

Are CWR and CET just SISU puppets?

At best, the headline was misleading when compared to the FOI responses from the Trust. I would have thought that the more valid story lay there. As for the BBC, they are the most reliable and consistent organisation that we have - that is not to say that they get it wrong sometimes of course. I...

    Dagnall Has His Contract Cancelled

Lee Mills springs to mind on that point, but we do need a forward at the mo, so worth a risk

Who will own the new stadium?

I hadn't forgotten, no. And a Happry Friday indeed (became happier with Hill's graphic - that will get plagiarised on occasions) :D

    Dagnall Has His Contract Cancelled

If the MK game is anything to go by, he would sniff out a few goals for us, and with Wilson injured for a while, he would get a run in the team. Also, the other players know him and with his work rate, he undoubtedly fits the bill in regard to Pressley's work ethic.

WOuld be good to get him for the rest of the season - hope its us

Not wishing to get involved with the ongooing "discussion", but that graphic has made one chuckle!

    Ask Yourself This

That's fine, but it would be easily managed and just end up being a larger collection of people on the Hill as normal. There would be no opportunity to march through the town as originally suggested.

    Ask Yourself This

If it's on the day of a Cov game, then the Police would just have to say "turn right for the stadium" for those going by train as they come out of the station. I am not being an awkward bugger, just looking at some of the potential show stoppers for this.

Who will own the new stadium?

I dare say it is common practice to have onwership by a seperate company of the same Group, and in an ideal world the club would have ownership (which I dare say is also common practice in some quarters); but this isn't realy the issue. Sisu have no intereset in the football, they are there to...

    Ask Yourself This

The principle is ok, but we need to be focussing on the FL etc and not other parties to demonstrate our one common thread i.e. CCFC fans. Problem being though it would be reported locally as trouble makers/hooligans, and who would take any notice at national media level. The town centre is...

The biggest wan..r to ever put a city shirt on

I don't generally use this kind of language - but couldn't agree more. Hughes wins this by a mile.
