Portsmouth set to go into Admin tomorrow

It doesn't matter what Portsmouth do. We still need to win half of the 16 games left minimum in order to stay up.

Portsmouth set to go into Admin tomorrow

Even if they get a 20 point deduction you still have to feel like they will finish above us come the end of the season.

Thorn shut up with this bad luck

I still say we are setting our stall out wrongly for away games. We are scoring okay at home, but away from the Ricoh we are now scoring at a rate of less than 1 goal every two games. From what i gather in that first half on Saturday we didn't even have a shot on goal.

    Norwood

No, agree. All for giving him time. Was just a bit surprised at the CT saying he was outstanding when none of the fans had alluded to this.

Why's it a big deal? Clingan won't even sign a new contract with us.

    Who would come to City

Funnily enough, that looks very much like Andy Thorn don't you think?

Thorn shut up with this bad luck

Exactly. Always someone who would want the job.

    Who would come to City

No, we keep Thorn until we get to Nuneaton Borough's level. Then would be the right time to get rid.

    Norwood

Mind, CT also quote AT thus .... “Alex looked really sharp up front and I was delighted with Olly’s performance in the centre of the park. His attitude is excellent and his performance matched that – he’s got a good engine and great engine.” A good engine and a great engine? He's got...

    Norwood

Haven't herd from anyone on here or GMK that Norwood played particularly well on Saturday. Is that the case? That he didn't particularly stand out? Just that the CT today say ........ 'and while Clingan’s absence would be partially offset by loan youngster Olly Norward’s highly impressive...

    So, Thursday is fast approaching...

The next transfer window? You mean the Summer? :thinking about::eek:

    Who would come to City

Yep. And it worked fine, in a caretaker capacity. If Carsley came in and did really well then I would expect him to be treated in exactly the same way as Andy Thorn. Thorn started off brightly but has now been found out. Once teams began sussing us out the results have not gone our way and...

Thorn is not winning over any friends giving the armband to Clingan rather than the obvious choice and most consistent player in a City shirt, Keogh.

    I think A N Other is available.

    Who would come to City

Yeah, but instead of a fascist, we have a fattist.

Thorn shut up with this bad luck

Yep, we may want SOD, but we all know we'll end up with sod all.

Would any other football league club...?

Well, the answer is obviously no. Every other club is not Coventry City though.

    Who would come to City

Carsley would be the sensible option ....... and I mean sensible in that we have no money and he could take the job on in a caretaker capacity with a review of things to come in the Summer. The way things are, a caretaker would be the sensible way forward. We will most likely go down anyway...

    Evra & Ferguson...

Fiar play to them for putting out that statement.

    For gods sake.....

Anyone else believe like I that even if Portsmouth do get a 10 point deduction we will still finish well adrift, rock bottom in last place come the end of the season?
