    Women's World Cup 2019

For me that wasn’t handball BUT under the barmy new rules that should have been a penalty against England. VAR can’t even get the blindingly obvious right...get rid Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What is going on with the Tory leadership contest?

Emily Matlis lost control early and never recovered. The format of asking question via link was meaningless...Matlis might as well read the questions Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    VAR

VAR is here to stay that’s for sure but I don’t see it adding anything to the game. Refs make mistakes so does VAR because it’s based on opinion Apart from game line technology (which isn’t a law of the game) I can’t think of anything else other than VAR in the running of a football match on a...

    VAR

I think the rule is if the player makes their body ‘unnaturally’ bigger. An player running will use their arms for balance and speed. It is not unnatural to run with your arms pumping backwards and forwards in line with leg movement. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Rod Liddle article in Sunday Times today

They might be tempted to bring in an out of town football club currently playing at St. Andrews...or maybe not! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    VAR

Haven’t seen that but agree something got to be done re handball. Up until last year or so in my time playing/watching it’s never really been a major issue but now a handball decision causes debate almost every game. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Rod Liddle article in Sunday Times today

For a start the article doesn’t mention the judicial reviews...where the merits or otherwise of the case are tested in a court of law. Otherwise I thought it a decent piece. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    VAR

The Scottish player could not have reacted to get arm out of way. If she is going to stretch to block cross then naturally your arms go up. Certainly ball to hand...no intent by player. No ground without VAR would have considered that a penalty. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    VAR

What a joke...never a pen. Did anyone appeal? Commentators hadn’t a clue what it was for until the replay. Player so close...only about 4yds away. Ruining the game. Wanted england women to do well...but not like that. Get common sense back in football Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    VAR

VAR is a blight on football. It’s only there to appease tv companies so they have more to talk about at h/t and the end. Just an extension of changing kick off times etc to suit a bored couch potato public. It makes refs and Lino’s more cautious (Lino’s are now instructed not to flag...

    The next step

The next step is for sisu to give robins and the fans some hope that there is a viable future for CCFC beyond a year at St. Andrews. This time a new stadium has to be more than words. Even if it is just outside the boundaries sisu must layout realistic plans for a permanent home; can’t survive...

    St Andrews confirmed!

This time a new stadium has to be more than words. As fans we need to see within 6mths what the medium and long term future plans sisu has for the club. We can survive a season at St. Andrews and we may be able to survive a couple but more than that would be too great. We will, in all...

    St Andrews confirmed!

So brum next season. Although not ideal I’m sure the club will come through a year away My concern is the medium/long term. I can’t see the European review being over quickly and therefore the chances of returning to the Ricoh slim in that period. How long can we remain nomads and sustain...

    Trump is here

If you are old enough to marry or join armed services then in my book you are old enough to vote. Perhaps the age for joining the army should be raised to 18. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    'Champions' League Final.

I was at uni with said Rogan Taylor....he was a decade or so older than most of us and bored us to tears with his stories about his travels in India and the Far East. He was always searching for his inner self. In fact he was seen as a joke by most (and I’m sure that included a few lecturers)...
