Job Centre give me a lot of shit. I just turn to them and answer with, "But I don't even qualify for Job Seeker's Allowance and you don't pay me a single penny, why are you giving me a hard time?"

I send them a CV and covering letter. Think it puts them off that I have quite a bit of supervisory expereince and they think that maybe i will find it beneath me. A minion job on basic wage. Doesn't bother me though.

I have applied to supermarkets (Tesco, Sainsbury, Asda, Morrisons, B&Q) and have been turned down by all of them.

Agree with that, Rob. Companies like to employ the employed. Once you are unemployed for a while everyone just seems to ignore you.

I realy think the Forest game was a big chance missed. Had we won that then even I, who has said all season that we will be relegated, would have believed we had a chance.

In fact I rummage through the Job Centre bins, find other people's rejection letters and tippex their names out and scrawl my own on just so I can feel better.

Is anyone remotely interested? Do think if we had picked up something at Forest we would have been focusing on this game a bit more. The way we keep losing away kind of makes me think matches like this one tonight pretty much only hold just a passing interest for us.
