To be fair his hand was forced on 3 5 2. Though never look a gift horse in the mouth. He got a bit of a decision to make when everyone's fit, though if we're on the back of a good run, (and it looks like we've got one building) it's a nice problem to have.

Thought there were a lot of positives today and we look as though we're developing a style of play. Still think that formation suits the whole squad bar 3 players. Unfortunately 2 of them are our best attackers.

It has, but like I said, it happened under Robibs but he'd usually got a more settles line up by late autumn/early winter but this,season we've brought in a new manager who looks to be going through the same process. Losing our 2 left sided attacking players when the intention is to play 4 3 3...

It was something Robins did but generally by now things have settled down. But because we've brought in a new manager we seem to be repeating the process. That's why I just want us to get safe this, season and hopefully start afresh and more settled next season.

Saddles is one out asurprise change. Got a feeling it could be Burroughs in for MVE or Raphael starting

Indeed. This squad is massively devoid of experience. Not sure why signing up one of the few experienced players we have until he's 34 isn't going down well with some people. Especially as it seems we'll be playing 4 at the back. Just need to try and move Dasilva on and bring in another LB

I'd imagine that's exactly what's happened. I think that suits both parties.

I'll happily take boring for a bit! Keep it tight, put a bit more daylight between ourselves and the relegation zone and build from there.

And given how poor we've been defensively I don't think it would do any harm just to tightening things up for a spell.

No. We just look stronger defensively. I appreciate its not the long term goal, but it will do for now, I certainly feel more confident when we play it.

Though I think from a defensive point of view we look better with a 5 at the moment.
