    2.7 million wage budget

No idea on terms offered but both players decided to join us when they had contract extensions from Peterborough and Barnsley on the table, I don't think it was because they were impressed by Sixfields? http://www.barnsley-mad.co.uk/news/tmnw/jimbo_says_no_834760/index.shtml...

    We've already got 5 strikers

    2.7 million wage budget

Exactly, lets not forget Peterborough and Barnsley both offered new contracts to Swanson and O'Brien yet both players agreed to join us instead

We seem to have short memories

Stopped reading after the first few lines. More excuses in behalf of the manager, honestly some people would be moaning that we didnt sign Messi if we went out and bought Ronaldo.

    Relegation Candidates

Maybe I shouldn't have said comfortably but no financial reason why we shouldn't be finishing in the top 12

    Time for SP to go..

We're not better, the only position you can argue we've strengthened is centre back. Everywhere else is weaker. And Baker was overrated by a lot and was overpaid, can't argue with you that he's better than the rubbish midfield we've seen this season, although is it player ability or the system...

    Relegation Candidates

With our budget we should comfortably be making top half. We will be in the relegation zone after the next few games an Pressley should go.

    Knee Jerk Reaction....

Exactly, we haven't played a good game for coming up to 12 months now

    Trust meet Wasps

Where have they said this then? The telegraph were saying no F+B when we came back but we get more advertising revenue from the Ricoh than we did before .

    Knee Jerk Reaction....

The most worrying thing thing is he sounds relatively pleased with the performances vs Crawley and Crewe

    Knee Jerk Reaction....

We've been shite since the new year, doesn't seem knee jerk to me
  13. SkyBlue_Bear83

    Midfield

    10 goals? Someones optimistic
  14. SkyBlue_Bear83

    vs Crewe

On paper this was one of our easier runs, I can't see us winning again until Colchester/Walsall games which are at the end of November.

    Time for SP to go..

I was referring to your lack of knowledge on our incoming players, you said you had only heard of Tudgay and Jackson. You'd never heard of Pugh, Nouble, Mcquoid, O'Brien, Johnson, Miller before then? Your lack of knowledge on the incoming players was irrelevant. Fisher and Waggot have openly...

Only Won Eight Games From 35 In 2014

I believe he said the Crawley game was how he wanted his Coventry City side to play  That was a Coventry City performance according to him.

Only Won Eight Games From 35 In 2014

That a win % of 22.8 over that period, in comparison Thorn had an overall win of 21.6% And Pressley has much better resources (in comparison with the rest of the division at the time)

    Time for SP to go..

I think overall game O'Brien probably is a better player too but he doesn't look capable of providing the assists and goals Baker did over his last two seasons. At least not in the current system anyway.
  19. SkyBlue_Bear83

    Time for SP to go..

Baker's nothing more than a decent L1 player, no way worth the wage he was on. But there's no denying he would improve the current team.
  20. SkyBlue_Bear83

    Time for SP to go..

What is the relevance that you hadn't heard of any of them? It just displays your lack of knowledge. Half the teams in this division would trade there limbs to have our budget so its nothing to do with that. If we're shopping in poundland then most of our rival aren't even shopping, there...
