That’s not what they’re doing though. Boris is giving it the bigun that we’ve vaccinated more than the rest of Europe put together. Firstly it means fuck all, it’s just Boris polishing his own knob. Secondly last time the government was telling us we were doing better than the rest of Europe...

I see we’re back to comparing ourselves to the rest of Europe again. Hopefully it doesn’t backfire again. Setting targets again but hopefully this time it’s going to be in the hands of the NHS to deliver and not the Tories profiteering mates so the chance of vaccinating the four most vulnerable...

Unfortunately Pete this government need the obvious to smack them in the face several times before it becomes obvious to them and they can make the right decision so expect either a last minute U turn or for the kids to go back only to go off a week later and then having to spend more time off...

    Anyone booked a holiday yet?

Tough one. What’s going to be the isolation rules when you get back or even get there. Hopefully will get one holiday in as aside from the kid’s missing school no holiday last year on a personal level was the most difficult part. Had two foreign holidays and a week in Wales booked last year and...

    Robings - how long left?

We made that mistake when Mowbray went, Mark Venus was given the caretaker job and because we had no plans he had the job too long and then came the panic appointment of Slade. An appointment I seem to remember you rejoiced in at the time. The rest is history.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Yesterday the Brexit press was all over the end of the tampon tax. Didn’t see any mention of ending tax on energy bills. Is that not happening now? The nasty EU making us charge VAT on energy was something that the leave campaign was constantly going on about, has that gone the same way as the...

Toby Young is another. Laurence Fox is as thick as pig shit, constantly going on about how he should be able to say what he likes and no one has the right to be offended and then plays the victim when people say what they like about him.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Not sure what you think that proves. Conservatives loss was neither the Lib Dem’s or Labour’s gain, either individually or combined. There’s no shortage of reasons to turn away from the conservatives. You have to also acknowledge that there’s been a jump of 30% in emigration to the EU since the...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I think it’s because the amount of time you can drive on a U.K. license in the EU is now limited, if you have permanent residency and intend to drive you need a permanent EU license. I can only relay his experience. He lives in a largely retirement community near Torrevieja and that’s his...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I know an expat in Spain and he says that they’ve had to apply for residency, swap their U.K. driving license for a Spanish one. Things like that. He also said that the majority of retiree ex pats voted leave and are now complaining about having to jump through the hoops they know they voted for.
