Northern Ireland will go first and looking at the withdrawal agreement the Tories want it also. Anyway, breaking up the Union was project fear.

Non festive songs that you associate with Christmas

This was Xmas No.1 the first time I can remember watching the TOTP Xmas special.

Would anybody really be surprised if it is essentially the same deal? Afterall the withdrawal agreement was. Ironically if he and the ERG had have backed May we would already have been out for coming up to two years now. All the postering has done has kept us in longer and exacerbated the issue.

You had leave voting farmers the next day asking where are they going to get their labour from. Farmers (collectively) haven’t exactly done anything to dispel the myth that they’re stupid. I can’t read and I can’t write but I can vote Brexit.

Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

Well at least he’s kept his promise to drain the swamp. If the swamp was US prisons.

Because of the R rate. I’ve always trusted the science, I don’t believe that the government has. I believe that when the science smacks the government in the face the second time they act and its too late. The government has always been reactive not proactive. The government learned the sum...

I don’t think that the government advisors are in on it at all. Their job is to advise not govern. Is there a new strain, yes. They advised. Does it behave differently to previous strains, yes. They advised. Have they advise that we panic? Does the government then take this advice and govern...

I think you’re right CD. When our kids have been told they have to self isolate (by the school, not track and trace) it’s only the one child and no adults that have to self isolate. Both my kids have had to have one round of self isolating, both in the same school and not once has the school...

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

Regarding kids we’ve only ever been contacted by the school, not track and trace. If that’s common to all schools I suspect that the kid excuse is somewhat of a red herring and more likely that they’re counting the schools track and trace as their own and adding to the numbers to make them look...
