    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

Come off it. You won’t catch the Tories handing their cronies billions and when they fail to deliver just sweep it under the carpet.

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

Every leader has done better. We have the highest death rate in the world. Killed more in the second wave than we did the first because “we” learned the sum total of fuck all from the first wave. Boris’ best is the worst in the world. It really is that simple.

    Match Thread Sheffield Wednesday

19 points from safety, using last year’s table as a yardstick. Not counting my chickens but we’re doing OK, keep our average for the season up and we’re home dry.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

The most unforgivable things are the complete lack of joined up thinking and delaying decision making until there is no decision to make. Both connected. For example, delaying closing schools. Both times they closed schools they let kids go in on the Monday before closing schools on the...

Individual EU states can though. They don’t have to wait for EU approval. Any state waiting on EU approval are doing under their own free will. How are you not getting this?

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

You are aware that every state in the EU has emergency measures to approve any medicine. We haven’t done anything that we couldn’t have done had we been fully paid up members of the EU. Even the government was forced to admit this after first pretending that we only approved the vaccine so...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

There was and always has been a provision for individual states to give emergency approval to medicines for a 12 month period independently from the EU. So you’re wrong, we could have approved it at the exact same time or earlier if we really wanted too as members of the EU. It’s another they...
