The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

You want to try getting a single pallet of anything to Ireland at the moment. Unless you’ve got a trailer load (or somewhere close to it) you’re waiting on groupage to fill a trailer and that is currently taking weeks. That’s how little is moving and it’s very damaging for small scale...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

EU membership was not holding our economy back, just the opposite, the size of our economy is one of the reasons we were one of the major contributors. Is the argument we were too successful economically as EU members? CAP, I’m not even going to argue about. It’s full of issues. Didn’t warrant...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

EU membership was the single largest tool in allowing the GFA to happen. There’s no getting away from that. Take EU membership away it causes issues. There’s no getting away from that. We elected to leave the EU, we were not kicked out. There’s no getting away from that. Cause and effect. It’s...

I read something the other day about 7000 jobs in finance already moved to the EU in the last four years and the big players are looking at the next round of job moves earlier than expected. Project “fear” predicted 40000 lost U.K. jobs from the finance sector in London. Suddenly that’s looking...

She also sang the praises of the trade deal too. It sounds, dare I say, like she didn’t know what she voted for.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I think the reason leavers are leaving this thread well alone at the moment is because clearly people who have spent the last 4+ years saying “leave won, get over it” are too mature to come on here gloating about the sunlit uplands.

    Sisu

Yep, there’s not a chance in hell they seen this coming but stadium ownership must be a millstone around every club’s neck at the moment. Be interesting to see what if any difference that makes next season. Especially if playing behind closed doors or even a reduced capacity has to happen next...

Had similar in Rye many years ago before turning veggie. Don’t recall what fish it was but it had been caught that day and landed in Rye harbour and not something you would see on a chippy menu anywhere else. It was advertised as tastier than cod and it was by a long shot.

Apparently we only have a fifth of the customs officers we need to deal with Brexit red tape, so chances are he’ll be there for more than his current contract. I think the lack of officers is the largest single issue, it also been exacerbated by the extra officers that they have recruited have...
