    Lost the Dressing Room

And even then you have to acknowledge that tactics at times this season have been driven by injuries and available players. Lots of praise for starting with Godden and Walker yesterday for instance as a positive tactic. But how many times have they both been available to pick together? Both have...

Long Term Future Of The Club

I don’t think even they know. Whatever you think about the Hoffman offer when you compare it to what other clubs, higher in the pyramid (at that time) and with assets such as their own ground it probably wasn’t a million miles away and they turned it down flat, they wouldn’t even talk to him...

Long Term Future Of The Club

    A) who’s going to buy us? B) who’s going to buy us at the inevitably ridiculous price SISU will want?

More points than our last championship season

I think that’s a point often overlooked. Was there ever actually a plan to be in the championship this season? Fact is we have a very good League 1 side.

More points than our last championship season

That’s the hope. Afterall, it’s all we’ve done under Robins. Kick on season after season. Not saying we’ll be champions, automatic or playoff contenders next season if we stay up but if we can finish comfortably mid table no looking over our shoulders then yet again we’ll have kicked on.

More points than our last championship season

Just to put things into some sort of context with today’s win we now have more points than we finished the season on when we were relegated from the championship in 2012.

How many points do we need

Might have enough already looking at final tables from the past five seasons. Another 6 wouldn’t go a miss though.

    Bristol City (H)

Yep. And Grendull the “expert” has started the calls for him to be sacked every season Robins has started as manager. Two of which as you point out we were promoted in.

    Lost the Dressing Room

Never been any evidence that he’s lost the dressing room. The opposite if anything. Fact is we have a very good League 1 team playing in the championship so this season was always going to be a struggle as the step up is massive. The fact that we’re not dead and buried is testament to the fact...

    Steve Waggott/Tony Mowbray/Mark Venus

It was Sports England (or something similar) IIRC. It was the playing surfaces that had to be replaced within the borough of Rugby not the training ground for a professional football team.

Just to get a general feel of things

Missed my first game yesterday as I was stuck at work. Other than that you’re 100% wrong. As usual. Sorry. That’s not quite true. Didn’t see the games on sky sports either. Did listen to them on the radio while doing DIY though.
