And yes he does play the ball short and to the side sometimes but that is what CDMs are meant to do, retain the ball. He clearly also has the ability to pink lovely long passes and carry it forward through the thirds himself

I can't see him having agreed to go to the clubs linked that Jan, as I said he had a plan and it's clear that his agent had been setting up the Sporting Club move for a while.

it just seems to be him and his agent had the plan to move to europe so he could then get an even better offer plan in place by then i can't see him signing for one of the lower PL teams that were rumoured to be after him at that stage
