Who said anything about polling constituents. If one of them contacted her and said he had offended their community it is her job to represent that…. It’s literally what she is paid for.

Maybe it is about context - but that doesn’t take away from the fact it’s in really poor taste. I can’t say I’m offended but it’s not a joke that is relevant to me, and being outraged and calling for him to cancelled ends up being counter productive, as he’ll get an even bigger platform to whine...

MP’s are employed to represent their constituents. If their constituents who are from this group feel this is offensive it is actually their duty to say this.
