As you’ve quite rightly pointed out this goes back the last 6/7 years and plenty of those coming out in condemnation weren’t anywhere near as vociferous a few years ago.
I’m not arguing for it at all… I just think that for every argument that Carr has the right to make the joke, the argument for people being upset/offended (especially if the joke represents their culture) is just as valid.
