    Most Shocked About A Result

Exactly right. I've watched a few interviews with Kevin Campbell recently - under the cosh etc. - he's a really big character - great stories.

    Max Biamou Goals

Brilliant Ol. I love Max. To make the step up from non League, to recover from a serious injury and then mark his return to full fitness with that goal against Peterboro was one of the moments of this season. Fantastic. Max's second goal to effectively seal the game against County away was...

    Most Shocked About A Result

All of the above; like everyone else the Sheffield United game was for me the biggest disappointment. Should have easily won the home game, their keeper put on the best display at HR that I have ever seen - listened to the replay on the radio and it was absolute torture. I'm so glad to have...

    Max Biamou Goals

I guess it's a lot longer than your campaign to order a taxi for Robins lasted though.

    Matty Godden

I think that's right Robbie. I don't think Godden had full match fitness when he arrived. Then he got injured and I'm fairly certain he played quite a few games with that injury - not the easiest thing to do when you are the single striker. We were really only beginning to see the best of...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

It was the switch to 5-3-1-1(and from memory that happened during half time in one game) that really accelerated this season. The building blocks were already in place with fantastic recruitment: Marosi, Dabo, Rose, McFadzean, Godden, the emergence of McCallum and the brilliant loan signings...

Loving your work Ollie lad - fantastic. Keep it up.

Black Prince pub in tile hill

Sounds like something from The Football Factory where the Legion congregate for a few pre-match sharpeners. Definitely not on my to do list.

    Jordan Shipley Goals

I think that's fair Magwitch - and also it's only this season that Shippers has played in his more natural central position. The Wembley goal is a thing of beauty, Shippers doing what he does best by surging forward into the right position, the reaction of our fans massed in sunshine behind...

Jay, you’ve made Robert Jarni look like a paragon of virtue in terms of loyalty to us!

‘If’ we are promoted what do we need to compete in Championship?

A bit of a long shot but if Preston end up promoted, we might have a chance of 10 Bags Bayliss back on loan for a season? I think he'd be a very good fit in our preferred midfield 3 formation vs. the 4-4-2 in his final season with us which didn't work for him. Similarly Bristol City, might...

‘If’ we are promoted what do we need to compete in Championship?

Agree with a lot of this. For what it's worth, I always rated Willis for his pace. That being said in the system we play we need players who are very comfortable on the ball; not sure Willis falls into that category. A fully fit Jodi Jones in the right system would be brilliant.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

As I've always said Grendel; if we beat Liverpool in the Champions Cup final 5-0 with our global superstar number 10 also finding a cure for cancer on the flight back, you'd still find something to complain about. How anyone could not have enjoyed the ride over the past 3 years is beyond me...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

That's ok - different opinions. I don't recall much joy for example under the Don Mackay era as we booted the ball into space for 90 minutes - now that was rubbish. The style of play of this team is as good as I have seen in 40 years (we've had brief periods before of playing with style but...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

I hear both sides of this. For me as a supporter for 40+ years, I've actually enjoyed the last 3 seasons more than any other. The revival of the team under Robins has been epic; and the quality and style of play has been brilliant to watch. For me and I know it's different for others; that's...

    Enobkahare Leaves Wolves...

No idea what's happened at Wigan 1991; might be off the field issues or maybe Bright doesn't fit the formation that they are playing. But judging on his first spell with us, I would imagine that Robins would set up a formation that would allow Bright to create absolute havoc if we got him back.

    Enobkahare Leaves Wolves...

I hear what everyone is saying. I guess growing up in the 70s I've always enjoyed the idea of a maverick in the team. I've listened to the podcasts and all the players say that Bright's talent is exceptional and the best player they have ever been on a pitch with. That was also evident from...

    Liam Kelly

I understand he's been playing through an injury for quite a few games this season; always gives everything for the shirt. Shows how much Robins rates him as well (playing through an injury) and sees him as vital in our midfield if you think about the competition for places in centre midfield...

    Hickman

Lads..... I think this is a bit harsh on SkyBlueMichael. I was a strong defender of Hickman at the time as I made many mistakes around his age - and thank God there wasn't any social media to show my mistakes to millions. I certainly didn't think that he should be punished in any way - his...

    87 cup final thread

That's ok Legia. Different opinions. Sillett has said himself that Speedie was very disruptive. It's during an hour long interview on youtube. Point well taken on the injuries to Bennett and McGrath, and we agree on the left back. Letting Pearce go after he made such a big impression after...
