    Strava watch

That's totally insane. Equivalent to a 1 hour 12 minute half marathon. As a footballer who has his training based on sharp sprints and quick recoveries and not endurance. Imagine what he could do with specialised endurance training and with race day conditions - he'd have to be looking at...

Exactly where I found it - sorry for the late response lads - I was offline.

    Sunderland Til' I Die

I was glued to the QPR documentary’The 4 Year Plan’ with the billionaire owners. There was incredible access and total chaos. Really worth watching for those who haven’t seen it.

Brew XI - take the p*ss

My best guess is that Telfs woke up and thought it was Strachan licking his bollocks as per the usual.

That Bodak goal was brilliant. I often think that Bodak would have been better suited to football today compared to his era. He was very skilful and technical and would be far better protected by refs today and benefit from better quality pitches. Not to mention the change in tactics to a...

MK Dons FA Cup - great shout that Fred. There's an iconic photo of the goal celebrations - anyone have it?

Brew XI - take the p*ss

Ian Wallace - had some real battles with the booze after he stopped playing but thankfully ok now Peter Reid - famously enjoyed drinks during working hours with his old mate "Inchy" Chris Coleman - we seem to hire managers who like the booze or perhaps we drive them to it Killer - lived on the...

    Favourite XI you’ve seen live

Good shout to include Bennett in there. Very under rated in my view, even by City fans. He had everything, skill, pace, great delivery and a scorer of spectacular goals. I was invited to a match with my family back in the 1980s by a Luton player who had big Coventry connections (Luton vs. Cov...

    Favourite XI you’ve seen live

Very nearly exactly my team - we must be a similar age! I would probably have Gordon Strachan in there (you could tell he was a very special player even at the age of 38) and switch Stewart Robson to he bench. Or go 3-5-2? Blyth Borrows Gillespie Peake Thomas Pearce Strachan Boateng Hunt...

Comeback XI - take no returns

I hear you Ring of Steel. But if we evaluated those players strictly on their contribution in their second spell with the club - Gillespie, Turner (hardly played due to injury), McAllister (should not have played but kept picking himself), Bigi (would be nowhere near our current midfield)...

    Opposition players city fans hate

Manager - Steve Evans. No further explanation required.

    Favourite XI you’ve seen live

Fantastic line up. I'd have Gillespie ahead of Atherton. And although I've been very critical of Strachan as a manager on these pages, he was different class on the pitch (even at the age of 38) and certainly would be on the bench and most likely in any starting XI.

That's the one Gynns. It was interesting as Whelan was viewed as the returning hero by the Leeds faithful whilst McAllister got all kinds of abuse. Fantastic, fantastic moment when McAllister drilled home our penalty right in front of us - and boy did we celebrate. The best part was the...

    Shagger's XI - Take the p***y

Fantastic story and lots happened in the 70s and 80s that couldn't happen today - smartphones everywhere - just look at Deep Pockets Hickman. I did hear a similar story about Rosario introducing various groupies around the country to the City squad at away games - and I'm talking about quite a...

    Most Enjoyable away wins

For sheer drama and tension, Spurs away to avoid relegation. We were doomed going into that game. Everyone knew it. We knew it. Traveled in hope and with no expectation. Immense City crowd that day - true supporters. Miracle at the Lane. Best experience ever - Notts County away second...

    Most Enjoyable away wins

Leeds away. Boxing Day. 1-0 down. City fans making all the noise and we ramped it up as soon as we conceded. Stormed back to win 3-1. Huckerby was unstoppable, top class and ran past Palmer as if he wasn't there. Celebrating goals with strangers in the aisles. Epic memories.

City Bosses Stupidly Fired - Take No Taxis

Orange Ken Dulieu sitting on the bench in full coaching gear - stupidly fired as it was absolutely comical. I personally wish he was still there just for entertainment purposes.
