    Kids for a quid!

    Are you really that surprised?
  2. SkyBlue_Bear83

    The Ricoh

Can't tell if that is a serious suggestion or a joke. If it's serious I'm just lost for words.
  3. SkyBlue_Bear83

    The Ricoh

If it was just Wasps supporters going to to the Ricoh they would probably be getting less than 8k (very generous estimate) Otis is just playing the class clown.
  4. SkyBlue_Bear83

    The Ricoh

They aren't Wasps supporters though, to claim so is bizarre, you don't gain 10,000 supporters overnight. We know the majority are from CV postcodes (something like over 70% of all tickets sold I think, then we have all the freebies going around Coventry) and that a lot are on free tickets and a...

    Kids for a quid!

For the crucial League One match, the club have introduced the Kids for a Quid offer as City face Colchester... Tickets for the Sky Blues ‘Kids for a Quid’ game against Colchester United, on Saturday 11th April at the Ricoh Arena (3pm kick off), are now on general sale. All...

    The Ricoh

Yes dangerous, why would they risk upsetting the majority of people who are attending there games?
  7. SkyBlue_Bear83

    The Ricoh

True, even so if they could afford it. It would be a dangerous thing to do whilst the club remain there.
  8. SkyBlue_Bear83

    The Ricoh

I wouldn't say pointless, why would Wasps risk alienating the majority of there new 'fan base' by changing the seats whilst the football club remain at the Ricoh?

Auditors query Coventry City FC as a going concern

The only thing I can see it bringing is higher attendances so more match day revenue. I think the best we can hope for from Wasps is a fair rent and a % of match day revenue, we shouldn't expect any more from them than that. Is it enough? I doubt it.

Auditors query Coventry City FC as a going concern

Yea but Wasps have other revenues. He does have a bit of point, SISU aren't going to convince an outside investor to spend 30 million to only have a return on there investment of 100k a year. I think the only reasonable way it could happen is if its SISU who are going to stump up the cash...

    Fisher on new stadium

Exactly how I saw it at the time, but people just kept on going about why it was rejected because of conditions.
  12. SkyBlue_Bear83

    Fisher on new stadium

Of course that is what it is about, even if they don't admit it. Its the only explanation for the cheering for Wasps on here.
  13. SkyBlue_Bear83

    The Ricoh

Should make some people very happy if they change the seats.
  14. SkyBlue_Bear83

    Fisher on new stadium

I said it was a reasonable offer which it was, not that it was better than the offer from Wasps.
  15. SkyBlue_Bear83

Anyone go to the Wasps game today?

tbh I doubt there is a lot that can be done with it, throw on a bit of sand and what? At least it shouldn't be getting much worse between now and the last home game, our last game is 25th April.
  16. SkyBlue_Bear83

    Fisher on new stadium

The offer for the 50% was reasonable. CCFC have committed more to the community over the past than Wasps, people like to make out CCFC don't do stuff in the community and schools etc they do, it just gets ignored.

    Scouse Footballer Impressionist ??

Yea it's probably Darren Farley, loads of him on YouTube
  18. SkyBlue_Bear83

    Sign of improvement?

That is possibly true, big difference is Pressley was here for almost 2 years and Mowbray 2 games. If in almost 2 years time there is little or no improvement then Mowbray will be getting as much if not more stick than Pressley would get/got.
  19. SkyBlue_Bear83

    The Ricoh

Should never have been opened up this season.
