    Be careful out there, lads....

Most the punishments seem reasonably fair. “Members of the public were seen in the street frozen in fear, including a group of pedestrians with baby buggies waiting to cross the road.” That is not acceptable. Most those with the longest sentences had used weapons of some sort which could...

    Be careful out there, lads....

By "football lads" I assume you mean hooligans. If I spent most my time being a law abiding citizen, then breaking into cars occasionally I am still breaking the law. I know most of it is girly handbags and running away but if damage is done to a person or property then a jail sentence is most...

    Be careful out there, lads....

I would expect you are probably correct. The 3 year sentence I woul imagine is repeat offender or someone who has caused serious injury.

    Be careful out there, lads....

No, rapists, murderers and paedo's are scum of the earth. Hooligans are just idiots who do not think of the consequences of their actions. It can, and has, ended in deaths and serious injuries to people so why should it not carry a jail sentence.

Which coincided with the protests ending/ becoming less prevalent.

    Blackburn fans a disgrace

You can still win one off games. But our general form around that time was crap. There was a period in that game when the players looked distracted by it.

    Be careful out there, lads....

As I said I don't think that it is worse than most the above, maybe on a par with burglary due to the damage it can and has caused. Rapists & paedo's should get more time inside, not the other crimes less. Don't see why people think hooliganism is acceptable.

    Be careful out there, lads....

    Definitely not.

    Be careful out there, lads....

Agree with your point but hooliganism should not be taken lightly. Innocent people and/or their property can get caught up in it through no fault of their own.

Don't think anyone disagrees with that.

    Blackburn fans a disgrace

Although you think you are supporting the players the chanting against the manager/board will affect the players too. There is no getting away from that, and it will affect performance. Don't get me wrong, Venkys are destroying your club as SISU are ours. But the bad feeling around the whole...

    Rumour from GMK

I would think it would be deferring payment, maybe via a renegotiation of the lease, if it is true.

    Blackburn fans a disgrace

Disgrace is a bit far. Apart from those who have made it personal and/or thrown things at him. However the fans have to accept their protests have come at a cost. Their premier league status. Sure some will think its worth it if Venkys and/or Kean now leave.

    Blackburn fans a disgrace

I agree it is just a minority. But they have created an atmosphere that is difficult to work in for the players. In the same way that a lot of the unrest around CCFC this season contributed to our relegation. Don't get me wrong, everyone has a right to do it but it will contribute or add to any...

In the cup. Which doesn't really count. When Sutton United beat us did that make them good enough for top flight?

    Blackburn fans a disgrace

They have not supported their team all season. It's not all fans but a large enough number to make it a horrible atmosphere. I have a couple of friends who are Blackburn fans who completely agree. Protesting every match gets you nowhere but relegated.
