Its not, its a seperate town, the figures the OP posted showing Nottingham having a population of 285k does not include places like West Bridgeford. Yes when you go to the City Ground it feels like Nottingham, but in terms of the figures its not classed as it.

You don't think much of our support comes from outside the city? I think as a % of the population more of our fans come from Bedworth than Cov.

I know, it was also the point that I was trying to get across (yet got myself distracted!). Coventry's outer areas have a far lower population than many so called 'comparable' cities.

I agree, but that is the same as all clubs. Most of Leicester's support comes from Leicestershire, not Leicester, in the same way that much of ours comes from Bedworth, Rugby and Nuneaton. Fact is the people who live in the surrounding areas are more likely to have lived round here longer...

Because getting rid of them doesn't mean death. Staving Sisu of cash is a bit like treating cancer with chemotherapy, painful and unpleasent but necessary for survival. The club in its current state is not my Coventry City.

Its going to happen anyway as long as Sisu are in charge. Surely we can all see that they are not the owners to take us forward, therefore we should rid ourselves of them as quickly as possible.

The thing you have to remember when looking at these population figures is that they only include the local authority area, not the whole city. Nottingham for instance is far bigger than that suggests, Forest don't actually play their games in Nottingham.

My understanding is it might not even get to court yet. All that has happened is Sisu have asked to court to look into it, to see if there is a case to be had.

Hope whichever venue they use asks for payment in advance.
