We have to go back to front quickly as we've got nobody willing to take the ball in a tight position with their back to goal like O'Hare does for us. It's horses for courses really.

Really miss O'Hare pressing as Shipley gets nowhere near

You look at Stoke's first 11 and they should be doing better than what they are. I think they'll turn us over 2-1 tonight.

    Blackburn and Mowbray

He was very good in our game with them I would love it if Bournemouth didn't go up

    Blackburn and Mowbray

Perhaps it's worth remembering Brereton's previous seasons when comparing with Gyokeres. He'd got 17 goals in 133 Championship appearances before the beginning of this season.

    Blackburn and Mowbray

It wasn't planned as far as I know, was it? He initially tried to spend his way and when the taps were turned off he was very fortunate to be able to fall on a crop of exceptional young players. That said, I suppose he has to be given credit for getting the best out of Brereton and the way...

    Blackburn and Mowbray

They've got an excellent (Category 1) academy and he paid £8m for Brereton and £6m for Sam Gallagher. He's fortunate that the academy and Brereton are just now bearing fruit, I don't think it is part of his masterplan

    “Significant bids turned down”

He really isn't, it's no coincidence that we've looked far better as an attacking force since he came back into the side.

I think he'll stick with the same team that started v QPR, played as well as we have for a while and it's likely Stoke will have 3 in central midfield anyway.

    “Significant bids turned down”

I find it very odd that a figure of £5m has been plucked out and released, what on earth is the point of that if not a bit of consent manufacturing?

Isn't the game in 2012 your record gate at St Mary's? I went that day and left after 15 minutes or so

    Expensive for those days!

When QPR won at Highfield Rd to go top of the Prem in 1992 they actually displaced Cov who were leaders before the game

Agreed, you wouldn't know he hadn't scored for 3 months. Thought he was very good, shame the he played for Shipley was delayed which made the chance harder, because the way he rolled Dickie was top drawer.
