SCG/ Garlick Stadium group to merge?

This was said at the last SCG meeting: 'Stadium Forum scheduled for Wed, Sept 3rd at 6.30pm. This forum remains crucial wherever the Sky Blues call home for discussing relevant issues'. I'm guessing it didn't happen.

    Terry Yorath Print

The story is true, but with a bit of Tim Fisher style spin. Same bed, but a couple of years apart. Yorath lived a few minutes walk away from me in Jimmy Hill's old house, their nanny had my old bed off my mum for the young Gabby to sleep in. She probably still smells of my wee.

In my younger days I slept in the same bed as Gabby.

Which City manager did (or is doing) the best job with the worst squad?

Looks like we're experiencing a Don Howe period now, hopefully things will improve when we have a fully fit squad with no one suspended.

Which City manager did (or is doing) the best job with the worst squad?

Was it really, my memory is pretty poor with such things, I'm going to check that out. Although if it was a year I'm still suspicious, they tried even harder to hide something.:thinking about:

Which City manager did (or is doing) the best job with the worst squad?

I was at that QPR game, sitting in traffic after the game and the news came over the radio that he'd resigned. It's only now when I think about that, but I do think he did resign, none of the 'mutual consent' stuff you hear now. If he really did resign, that's a pretty decent thing to do isn't...

Which City manager did (or is doing) the best job with the worst squad?

The Painter signing seemed suspicious to me, missed the pen for Stoke that would have got us relegated, then we sign him, and he played 3 games.

Which City manager did (or is doing) the best job with the worst squad?

There's not enough arguing on the other thread, so try this one. This is the worst squad I can remember, and therefore the best manager is Pressley.

Coventry story on radio in Brighton

I don't. I think their investors are fed up losing their money, and coming back at least means they shouldn't be losing money with this current team.

Well I suppose they do a similar amount of work to any existing bidder getting to a valuation that they think works for them, and then put a offer in, if the answer is no, then I imagine they haven't matched the offer, then carry on that process until you get a yes, or you don't think you'd ever...

I know it wasn't the point you were making. Now that it would appear someone may have put an acceptable offer together do you think SISU should try and match the offer or not? I guess they are available now because someone's put an acceptable offer in, seems pretty straightforward.

When do you think the clubs owners will bother to put an offer in for the 90%?

    Why we are struggling....

Yep, that and all the players that scored last year have left, and the keeper that kept us in plenty of games has left.

How can SP say this squad is better????

So you're saying we need Baker and Moussa back to set some goals up. Did Pressley have a clue last year?

    Fan ownership will never work

I'm not sure they are debt free, the official statement just refers to the old debts being cleared. I think we're all experts now at reading between the lines, and this does appear to be a carefully worded statement. "Portsmouth Community Football Club would like to announce that all legacy...

Good that they are following in our footsteps. No Debt says Fisher Coventry City CEO Tim Fisher has said that the Sky Blues do not have any debts. http://www.coventrycity-mad.co.uk/news/tmnw/we_have_no_debts__fisher_757433/index.shtml

So you'd agree that Rob S is at one end of the scale and Jack is at the other?

Coventry story on radio in Brighton

Thanks for posting, I'll have a listen later. It's not that the topic is unworthy, just that Rob S tends to pop up when SISU are on the ropes, without balance people will remain largely ignorant of the story.
