Its not conjecture that the deal is temporary as that's what the club wanted, it's not conjecture that Joy wants to leave.
its not conjecture that whoever owns ACL would make more money if the City played there. It's not conjecture that SISU didn't want to carry on the deal to buy into ACL...
See this quote from Joy. Ms Seppala said: “I do not want to go down as someone who distresses companies. I restructure businesses that are already distressed. I have acted in good faith, and I have an honest reputation. Rob must have spat his coffee out when she came out with that.
If they are forced to leave, and if SISU find some money, and if they decide to waste it on a new ground, and if this possible new ground is in Coventry, and if this is in my lifetime, I'll have a think about it then.
There's been so many twists in the whole of this journey that it would be hard to dismiss what you write, I can't see SISU being involved in this, but there's a nagging doubt that they could be.
It would be exciting, if it weren't so damn annoying.
Whilst not necessary agreeing with whether the comments are duplicitous, my first thoughts on reading the original CT article was that this would end up in the courts.
What's not clear from Gilbert's article is why the clause isn't triggered if the Council buy them, but might be if someone else buys them.
Gilbert - get onto it lad.
I don't know what was offered, but I guess that SISU were happy with it, and it fits in with the yarn being spun about looking elsewhere. If they wanted longer they'd have mentioned it wouldn't they? it would appear that Wasps have been around a lot longer than 4 weeks.
