Southgate is going to run with 3-4-3 for 2022 and frankly, I like it. It gives us a lot of balance and with the depth in wing backs we have, it can be a good attacking tool for us. We picked the ‘perfect’ game for Hungary with plenty of attacking talent and being at the game, it was a shame it...

    Famous people you've met

Excluding anyone Coventry City related, I’ve worked at a few events doing security so come across a few people: Richard Dawkins James Morrison Jeremy Corbyn - I fell asleep during his speech Tinie Tempah James Mark Ronson - queued up for a burger like an average guy I missed Pixie Lott and...

    JCS article in CET

Robins and Viveash were also ex-teammates from their Walsall days. JCS should sign for us on a permanent deal. He’s got a coach he knows well, we’re a growing club that is a good platform for our current squad that is full of potential. Hopefully, we’re another Brentford in the making!

It work with Victor Moses, but I think this is a stretch. Overall Ole has done a good job to get United to a position where they can compete for major titles again. But, like Lampard at Chelsea, it's plainly obvious to me (and more and more Man U fans) that Ole is not the manager to actually...

    In-ger-land

Man U don't have any defensive shape and because their pressing is pretty much non-existent (or only one player is pressing at time), their defensive is left wide open far too often. This is why Ole plays Fred and McTominay in central midfield (which is baffling) to remedy this. Teams who are...

    In-ger-land

On my way back from the match and I had a great time. We were ruthless and could’ve been 6 or 7 up going into the break. We look very good playing 3-4-3 and my thinking is that we stick with this going into the World Cup. Reece James was very strong, Kane looked back to his old self, Sterling...

    In-ger-land

The reason Man U are so poor defensively is because of Ole’s tactics. Structurally they are really poor and give far too many shots and chances away. Man U also happen to be one of the worst pressing teams in the Prem too. With a better manager, Man U so far better and Maguire and Shaw look...

    January transfer window

We had cover for McCallum last season and we didn’t really need to dip into that. We really should be fine with Dabo, Maatsen, Kane then DaCosta barring a really unlucky injury run.

    January transfer window

Dabo looks fine at LWB because he is primarily a good defending WB. One thing Kane does better than Dabo us that he has a better cross on him.

    January transfer window

It means we have a settled team and there’s not much chopping and changing. Context is everything and we find ourselves in 4th place after 17 games behind 2 relegated teams and Bournemouth. It’s certainly a good thing at this point.

Why would he go to Swansea?

Matty godden not a championship striker

Godden is a v good natural finisher so there’s no reason he couldn’t have an impact in the Championship! The best finisher at the club bar none.

    Match Thread Bristol City (H) - 6th November 3PM

In my opinion, today was one of the best games I’ve been to in my time as a Cov fan! Honestly, to go 1-0 down and a red card could’ve easily turned into a 3 or 4-0 defeat for a lot of teams. Yet, we were the better team throughout the whole game and looked the more likely team to win...

O hare doesn’t flatter to deceive

If COH finds a killer instinct with his shooting, his days here become numbered if he doesn’t drag us to the Premiership with him. He’s a fantastic player!

    International break

Even had he scored, we’d have won the game. We were in control and only one team looked like worthy winners, it wasn’t Germany.

Best striker since relegation from the Premiership

He scored an equaliser in a 1-1 draw against Colchester I believe.

    Fury v Wilder3

With Fury, he’s clearly got the knockout power, but he’s a lot more of a technician than his peers and is happy to pick someone apart for 12 rounds. Something I’ve picked up from Fury’s own words is that his newer trainers have actually pushed him finish bouts too.

    Fury v Wilder3

Fury was great, totally outclassed Wilder! But, Wilder showed some guts and heart to stay in the fight, even rattling Fury a bit at the end of the 10th. Very glad I set an alarm to wake up for this, an all time classic.

    Aj Usyk

Agreed. Joshua was roundly bested by Usyk. But, there was a few shots that did hurt OU and his face suggested as much. If AJ loosens his inhibitions a bit and throws dangerous combos, his chances improve.
