    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

In fairness this is from the Captain Tom Foundation, which is separate from the funds raised as a result of him lapping the garden. That said, the £160k is from donations in excess of £1m so is not very good. I had a look at the accounts and the charitable aims are rather wishy washy.

I used to go to a diner "Scotty's" on Lexington Avenue for breakfast, great little place. Very traditional, according to Google it has permanently closed now though, looks like it's a victim of COVID. Another similar place I liked was the Westway Diner on 9th Ave. Breakfast in NY is always decent.

Can't see Rogers being at Leicester next season, think he's taken them as far as he can.

    Martyn Waghorn

That first time ball back to goal around the corner to Eccles from where Maatsen had that chance, just top class.

He doesn't miss gilt edged chances every game at all

I found a few decent bars after visiting the Chelsea Market. That general area including the meat packing district and Greenwich Village has a few places. It ain't cheap mind.

Yes, it's weird. The team create a lot more overall when he isn't playing.

I'm not normally keen to get knocked out of the cup but I agree, we've already got a fixture backlog.

Match Thread Southampton FA Cup Match Thread

The game was a mirror image of recent league games where we've been the better side and lost. Very very very disappointed in me Waghorn not going round the keeper for that chance he had from the short backpass. On the positive side, I keep saying on here we don't need to buy a replacement for...

It's a horrendous joke whatever you think of gypsies. Put it this way, imagine he replaced Gypsies with Jews in it?

    Jimmy Carr

Not that his latest is against the trend with him but what an awful smug wanker he is. The non-thinking man's edgy comedian.

    Championship 21/22

We might as well forget about the play offs anyway, our own manager referred to us as a mid table team yesterday, so it seems there is no real appetite for a proper push

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Labour had more voters in 2019 than they did in 2015 or 2010. Its problem will be that the younger voters it attracted that turned out in 2017 and 2019 probably won't bother to vote based on the current leader and policy agenda, so they have to hope enough people 'return' after having voted...
