I've seen little of them but I saw them v Birmingham early season where I wasn't impressed with either and v Swansea when they smashed them and they looked very good on the break so letting them have possesion as you suggest makes sense based on the little I've saw.
At this stage last season eventual champions Leeds had conceded 5 less than we have, but they had scored 19 fewer.
I dont think it's as big as concernas you're making out.
I've long banged on about how thin our squad is and we always seem to leave ourselves extremely vulnerable in at least one position.
But if we weren't lining up a forward already, it's going to be difficult to get one lined up based on injuries that have only happened in the last couple of...
Not this again. We're not selling out week in week out now, why would anyone fork out to expand, especially as it would probably mean playing with a reduced capacity for a while.
The thing is, in all liklihood, any new signings probably arent going to arrive until mid Jan anyway.
Even if they arrive at midnight new years eve it will only be 2 or 3 league games before he's back.
If it can be managed I'd rather do that just through Christmas/New year and get a replacement in in Jan, give him the op and have him ready for next season
I'm a big fan of his and think too many of our supporters under rate him but I just couldn't see him in the Grimes role.
Playing in a deeper role, yes. But sitting where Grimes does and being the fulcrum of almost everything we do, I can't see it.
Think the ref threw the linesman under the bus because when our players went up to him he pointed to his ear piece as if to say I never got a call and next think one of our players, I think Rudi, was over having a go at the linesman
