Being able to see the pitch from the concourse creates problems with serving alcohol though.

No doubt some fans thought the same in 1903 about the out of town souless Highfield Road longing for a return to the charismatic Dowells Field.

Its about taking pride in what is Coventry.

Other fans would most probably comment on atmosphere, which is down to us and the team. Nothing at all to do with the design of the stadium. As a structure I think most would laugh at the idea that anything in this division is more impressive than the Ricoh.

Not really, the Ricoh is much more impressive.

    Les reid's ct article

Do you consider the quoted sixfields rent of £170k excessive? Even if the rent had stayed at £1.3m the move to sixfields is currently costing the club around £2.2m a year in revenue. Am I right in what your basically saying is you would rather lose that revenue than pay ACL £1.3m?

I wouldn't swap the Ricoh for any league one ground.

I said before I think there's quite a few Neville Chamberlin voters on here!

    Fans are slowly winning..

So because we let Richardson/Robinson do a massive amount of damage means we should let Sisu finish the job in completely destroying professional football in Coventry? If we take the same attitude now that we did with the previous regime then there really will be no club left.

Exactly. Those saying NOPM wont work are also the ones saying we will have to return if we fill sixfields. Argument cant be used both ways. If Sisu are determined to destroy a football club's 130 year old link with its community then let the bastards foot the bill I say.

Even if a new ground is built, it will still be a bowl. Its cheaper to build a ground that way. Some people think this new stadium will be amazing, basically it will be less like Highfield Road than the Ricoh.

I was wondering how long it would be before the fans got the blame. We lost a game, it happens. If the players were put off by 3k fans watching then their in the wrong business.

    The Freehold at the Ricoh

Presumably if ccfc owned the Ricoh freehold Acl would still exist, and be legally entitled to the income streams?

More Misery for sisu: Result of poll of over 500 CCFC fans

Why are we comparing against last seasons average? Current crowds are about 90% down on sisu taking over. Are we saying to those 17-18k fans that you dont matter? They have as much right to vote on this as those who attended last season, which would make these figures look a lot more...

Statement from the Sky Blue Trust

Owning a share in the Ricoh is of no benefit to the club. Owning the income streams are what is needed. First step in that is getting sisu to agree in principle in moving back to the Ricoh.
