Finally Going To My first Cov Game Need Help!

£35 for the short sleeve shirt, if you want anything printed apparently they have run out of the letter L (good info there). Pretty sure the shop will be shut by the time the game finishes.

On a shocking Pitch Class still shines through

Whilst not wishing to derail a Whelan goals thread, was it really asset stripping or was it necessary selling as we were £60m in debt? are you referring to selling players or selling the ground? Was the sale price for Highfield Rd ever made public? The deal at the Ricoh was alright wasnt it...

On a shocking Pitch Class still shines through

The over spending in those years has helped lead us on the path to ruin. Some of the players we saw we wouldn't have done if we spent only what we could afford, I enjoyed the great games and the great players we saw, but vids like this also show where we went wrong.

On a shocking Pitch Class still shines through

Some decent goals in there, but my recollection is that overall he was only an average player for us. Showed enough skill sometimes to suggest he had talent, but didn't perform well enough, regularly enough.

The one that got away...Big Nathan Cameron?!

If Cameron plays a game for a Premier league team it will prove beyond doubt that it is the most overrated league in the world.

The one that got away...Big Nathan Cameron?!

He was better up front than at the back, and he wasn't good up front.

    Upcoming Changes At The Ricoh

I'd have thought that if SISU knew about wasps as we came back it would have leaked out via sources close to the club.

    Upcoming Changes At The Ricoh

When Fisher shook hands on the £400k a year rental deal presumably that was before the lease was broken?? If so, that would have been a good deal, we'd still get the pitch side advertising revenue, the shop, the dingy offices etc. and we wouldn't have left for Northampton. It could have all...

Victory for the City of Coventry yesterday

Evening Duffer, I respect your detailed and sensible reply. I'm not normally a fan of lengthy responses, but as you've taken the time, I will also, in an attempt to explain my view. I don't think the wasps deal changes the likelihood of building a new ground as to me there's no good reason to...

    What SISU should do next?

If renting is cheaper than funding a new (small) stadium, and at the moment the rent cost is a tiny fraction of the funding cost, then renting is not in itself a problem. We don't know what Wasps are prepared to offer in respect of extra income, but as they will be better off with ccfc there...

It's time to distress SISU as owners and let the club go under and start afresh

SISU are distressing themselves without the need for any extra help from us. They will go when they are ready.

    What SISU should do next?

I'm not sure ACL necessarily need us there, but they will undoubtedly be better off with us there, and so will ccfc, so it seems a no brainer that there is a deal to be done. SISU/Otium need to try and work with people rather than their usual tactic.

    This club what's the point

They haven't said they are not making a loss, merely that the cash that has come in so far, is more than the cash that has gone out. I would imagine this means they are making a loss, but haven't paid out the cash on costs such as interest on loans.
