We should start planning a Phoenix club...

Which is why I have said it shouldn't be the Ricoh.

We should start planning a Phoenix club...

How much money do you think is required to start at the bottom of the non league pyramid? Not as much as you think I would guess. The club would have to be run on a financially prudent basis from day one. As I have said in previous posts at least 50% of the club should stay in the fans hands (ie...

We should start planning a Phoenix club...

They would not be Coventry City (or a continuation of). They would not have fan ownership. I know it's not for everyone but starting to think it may be for some. It needs to be a structure where the fans have a say.

We should start planning a Phoenix club...

If I have a quiet night at work I will do a bit of research/thinking. First step would be consultations with those that had done it like Wimbledon, FCUM, Darlington, etc

We should start planning a Phoenix club...

Agree. But also don't need 32,000. Don't forget we wouldn't need to be all seater. But would need more than 3k I agree. Adjustments would need to be made.

We should start planning a Phoenix club...

The difference here is the old club still exist so would essentially be a brand new club. I also don't think you could start at the Ricoh, the costs would be too high. Would be better ground sharing at the Butts (which would be big enough to start - many wont watch non league football) with...

    where will this end up?

I think you are right OSB. Seems the most logical outcome. We can only hope something changes. Didn't something similar happen when Leeds were in administration and Bates managed to keep control?

    Coventry City Name

So theoretically someone could buy CCFC limited, own the golden share and therefore the right to league 1 football but not the name. So a realistic possible outcome here could be that ph4 and friends could own the club in league 1, play at the Ricoh, but would have to change the name from...

    Coventry City Name

But I guess it would have to mean the whole of the SISU owned club would have to go out of business.

    Coventry City Name

Does anyone know who owns the right to use the name Coventry City FC? Is it holdings or limited? Or is it elsewhere (ie - Sky Blues Trust)? If it is in Limited (ie Coventry City) I would be willing to support the club owned by someone else even if it meant starting at the bottom of the...

    PH4 has bid

ACL have said they will talk with them regarding a new lease on the ground. If they don't want to sell their shares to them that is their prerogative as shareholders. SISU are not being forced to look for alternatives outside coventry it is purely out of stubbornness and contempt towards ACL.
