    Being discussed on talksport again.

    What would we do?

You would think so. Problem is he/they will have to put their own club first. If SISU are offering enough money and its up front so they can't decide not to pay then you can't really blame them. I don't really know NTFC financial situation but a few hundred thousand would come in handy for most...

    What would we do?

To be fair, until today (or yesterday as it is now I guess), this hasn't had much media coverage.

    What would we do?

Even if said fans were against the move?
  5. mark82

    What would we do?

Depends on the situation and Shrews fans feelings.

    see you lot

Stop creating bullshit threads mate. We have GMK for that.

if and when we play at Northampton

Don't think the majority would mate. Always the odd idiot though.

    Bombard the Northampton chairman

No one is blaming your fans. Your board (assuming they own the stadium) have a case to answer but no one will feel ill will towards your fans as such. All I have seen in that respect is one post which you twisted well out of context (which I will assume is misunderstanding rather than malice).

Guy on now hasn't got a clue. Club won't go out of business? Reality check needed.

    Jan or Bobby?

    Talksport now

I thought Jan did well actually. Craig, I'm guessing you're just jealous no one has asked you to speak on behalf of fellow fans.

We/the trust should get help from people like Bobby to raise media awareness and be a figurehead for the campaign.

    Coventry 1883

Again Ricoh not really realistic. Haskell would not be interested in reality. Butts and fan ownership.
  14. mark82

    Coventry 1883

Agree that it can't be done this season. I believe we would have to start at the bottom but there may be health and safety considerations though as grounds at lower end of non league may not be able to cope with a couple of thousand fans. This is certainly not an easy choice, and won't be for...

    Coventry 1883

Maybe as a minority partner in the club and they could have a majority stake in the stadium and ground. That way investor could make their money and help fund a club. It is possible and works well in Germany.

    Coventry 1883

Not sure if having someone else own the club is a great idea to be honest. Fans need to have a controlling stake to stop this shit from ever happening again. 51% fan ownership minimum.

    Coventry 1883

Unless ACL were willing to subsidise then we may be better off at the Butts.
  18. mark82

    Coventry 1883

My personal preference would be something like Coventry Singers FC or City of Coventry FC (which would retain CCFC initials). Coventry 1883 would be ok but not very inspiring. Anything but AFC Coventry.

    Coventry 1883

Understand that but it will not be possible to register a new team for this season. Would love to be proved wrong so don't let me stop you. Give the Birmingham FA a bell tomorrow and see what they say. That is your first port of call.

    Northampton comment From Facebook

Good read. Will never forgive Northampton for this (the club rather than its fans).
