    Oh dear!

I just hope the players haven't heard something bad happening off the pitch? I know our defence is poor, but it just seems strange that the whole team has a bad game suddenly.

I presume Linnell leapt to the defence of the stay aways like he does when those that go get singled out?

Was he that goalie who claimed he was getting unfair stick because only 3 of the goals were his fault?

Actually seems to have lost fans since the last game. Was it not nearer 1900 against Notts County?

Im not sure the police have the power to tell a private business where it can operate from once the venue has the appropriate license. Most likely outcome for this would be the club letting people in up to capacity and then the turnstiles would be shut. Those left outside would be told to go...

Its purely your decision if you want to go, no one elses. However I think we all need to face up to the responsibility of our actions. Those that are going, whether they like it or not are condoning the move. Its no good just shrugging your shoulders and saying its nothing to do with me...

IF there is a new ground built........

England or Britain. Cant remember which, but its an ancient name for it. Edit: Just looked it up, its the island of Great Britain.

IF there is a new ground built........

Do you understand what a conurbation is? Because the last time I looked there was a great slab of open countryside between Coventry and Kenilworth.

IF there is a new ground built........

Can you provide a link to where I said that? I said its part of the same conurbation. Same urban area. Same built up area. Même agglomeration. Gleiche Ballungsraum. Igual conurbación. Stesso agglomerato urbano. Yr un gytref. There you go, in a selection of European languages (including Welsh)...

IF there is a new ground built........

Given the standard of football on offer the attendances at the Ricoh have been very good. First season had highest in nearly 30 years.

IF there is a new ground built........

Hockey is generally more of a regional sport anyway. Blaze being the West Midlands team, Panthers being the East Midlands team, Devils being the Welsh team etc.

That would explain their shift in opinion.

    The Ricoh

I'm not aware of any financial difficulties at present. I think Wikipedia is two years out of date.

    The Ricoh

I agree, and I'm not saying that all that happened with the Blaze was right. Just that the football club over its 130 year history forged itself as being part of the fabric of the city in a much greater way than the Blaze ever did in Solihull.

    Newspapers & Owners!

Wouldn't make much difference to us if it did. The Telegraph never has any news in it anyway.

    The Ricoh

So you think that an Ice Hockey club is as integral to a city/town as a professional football club? That being the case, why wasn't you putting pressure on Solihull Council to do something to help the Blaze back in the mid 90's?
