Im not sure the police have the power to tell a private business where it can operate from once the venue has the appropriate license. Most likely outcome for this would be the club letting people in up to capacity and then the turnstiles would be shut. Those left outside would be told to go...

Hockey is generally more of a regional sport anyway. Blaze being the West Midlands team, Panthers being the East Midlands team, Devils being the Welsh team etc.

I agree, and I'm not saying that all that happened with the Blaze was right. Just that the football club over its 130 year history forged itself as being part of the fabric of the city in a much greater way than the Blaze ever did in Solihull.

So you think that an Ice Hockey club is as integral to a city/town as a professional football club? That being the case, why wasn't you putting pressure on Solihull Council to do something to help the Blaze back in the mid 90's?
