I talked to B.C.F.A re. phoenix club.

Yes, but for how much longer? If we are liquidated this time next year and then start planning we lose another year and cannot start up until 2015/16. Plus, the fact a high number of people "signing up" to such a club this year before it is even started could exert enough pressure on SISU to at...

It would be impossible to do anything this season. Too late.

Exactly. Nothing wrong with planning it now though. Better to do that than rush.

Just been relegated. They are fine financially now. Think you are referring to an article on here a few weeks ago. Think they had some issues with some old debt pre fan takeover. Think it got sorted.

Chester FC are the new club created by fans from that dissolution. Just got back to the conference.

I talked to B.C.F.A re. phoenix club.

Maybe that's the answer, but SISU don't want to sell. In terms of a Phoenix club, I would still support it financially and by going to games. I'm honest enough to say that if CCFC came back to Coventry I would go though. Everyone has different opinions, nothing wrong with that. If it did...

I don't disagree. It's not cheap, particularly when you move towards the league. Telford manage though. They are fan owned. As do Chester.

Wish I had gone away. I went to Coventry. Mistake to stay at home! Congrats BSB by the way.

FC united is a model of the type of club but their reasons for creating are clearly very different.

I talked to B.C.F.A re. phoenix club.

No one is treating it as a lost cause. You are either misreading or not understanding. If CCFC came back to Coventry then it will have served its main purpose. Everyone here is a CCFC fan and we all want the same thing, it is another way of applying pressure. That is not to say any new club...

I talked to B.C.F.A re. phoenix club.

Nuneaton & Atherstones situations were caused by private backers not being able to fund the clubs.

What has that got to do with anything? Genuine question, I don't see the relevance of that statement.

I talked to B.C.F.A re. phoenix club.

A lot of Leamingtons funding above their income is from donations and fans putting in a bit of time at the club together. Obviously couldn't tell you how much as they are a private company. FC united until this season were at the same level and would likely share details fairly freely on how...

I talked to B.C.F.A re. phoenix club.

Thought you had been to University? Not being funny but its not a brand new concept. Do a bit of research around clubs like FC United and AFC Liverpool. I personally don't like the term Phoenix club as its misleading but it's what others understand. Technically I guess it would be breakaway...

I believe they get rights to the name and history. Not sure what else would be in there. Someone from the trust board could tell you. Surely this is a good thing though?

How much money do you think people need to put in? FC United fans pay £12 a year.
