CCFC, The Ricoh And The European Commission

Basically those who believe the council done wrong don't believe in state aid unless its for sisus benefit.

Sisu boss Joy Seppala rejects council offer to play at Ricoh Arena rent-free

Why don't sisu make the council an offer they can't refuse?

    If jr ges against ccc

Why not? Businesses restructure their debt all the time. If ACL is doing as well as PKWH says then they should be able to find a willing lender.

    Lucas denies rent free offer

Presumably all the stewards work for free in Northampton and electricity is provided by jump leads attached to a nearby street light?

    The alleged £320,000 matchday costs

I'd be interested to know how much match day costs are in Northampton. Either way, the offer from acl would see the club far better off financially. I think its time all fans united in pressuring the club into accepting this.

    If jr ges against ccc

Really wish you would stop presenting opinion as fact. You have nothing to support the "fact" that acl will go tits up. Much more likely is they will get a commercial loan in that unlikely event.

    Lucas denies rent free offer

It is true with what he said. Ann Lucas didn't make the offer, Acl did. Still doesn't explain the main part of this story of why sisu didn't accept.

Sisu boss Joy Seppala rejects council offer to play at Ricoh Arena rent-free

I can clear up the confusion now if you like. The freehold isn't for sale. That doesn't mean a good offer wouldn't be listened to though. Just in the same way the club wasn't for sale when groups were interested.

    The Final Proof

I didn't say he was saying stop boycotting have I? Wish people would read and not assume.

    The Final Proof

What boycotting does do though is keep our plight in the minds of the media. For instance if it wasn't for the sixfields boycott we wouldn't have had David Conns article. Without his article we may never have known about this rent free offer.

Sisu boss Joy Seppala rejects council offer to play at Ricoh Arena rent-free

Again opinion presented as fact. Its just as likely that acl will get a commercial loan. Presumably you would like to see it given away in order to avoid*loss to the taxpayer? How ironic.

Not before starting a twitter argument with him first though.

"Coventry City owners lead club to Northampton and towards the abyss"

I would agree with you on certain conditions, namely a time limit. If they do insist on a new stadium then acl need to be able to move on. As the club won't commit to a long term Ricoh future, acl would need to look for a new anchor tenant. In that situation I would think it fair for acl to...

"Coventry City owners lead club to Northampton and towards the abyss"

If its the last reason then they are the most unprofessional business I've ever heard of. If a deal is the right deal then you put aside personal feelings.

Sisu boss Joy Seppala rejects council offer to play at Ricoh Arena rent-free

Why would that make a difference? There was a 45 year deal in place before and they got round that

"Coventry City owners lead club to Northampton and towards the abyss"

The match day income is irrelevant in the short term as it will be a pittance at Northampton anyway.

The Ricoh Arena Rent Free for the year - Next Step?

I fail to see how anyone can defend sisu on this one.

If you believe more than one party is to blame, why in all your posts do you only blame one?

"Coventry City owners lead club to Northampton and towards the abyss"

You mean would I prefer my club to be guaranteed to be playing in Coventry for 5 years or 10 years? Only council obsessed haters like yourself would prefer less security of our future.

    Ann lucas

A professional doesn't allow personal feelings get in the way of the correct business deal. I don't like most of the people I work with, however I have to keep my personal opinions to myself. If the stupid cow feels that strongly about Coventry council, then she shouldn't have bought an...
